८ उदय स्थान होते हैं। उसमें से २५ और २७ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान विक्रिया करने वाले तिर्यंच और मनुष्यों के ही होते हैं और शेष छह सामान्य के होते हैं। इन उदयस्थानों में से प्रत्येक उदयस्थान में ६२
और ८६ प्रकृतिक ये दो-दो सत्तास्थान हैं । २६ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान देवगतिप्रायोग्य व मनुष्यगतिप्रायोग्य होने की अपेक्षा से दो प्रकार का है । इनमें से देवगतिप्रायोग्य तीर्थकर प्रकृति सहित है जिससे इसका बंध मनुष्य ही करते हैं। किन्तु मनुष्यों के उदयस्थान २१, २५, २६, २७, २८, २९ और ३० प्रकृतिक, ये सात हैं; क्योंकि मनुष्यों के ३१ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान नहीं होता है। यहाँ भी प्रत्येक उदयस्थान में ६३ और ८६ प्रकृतिक, ये दो-दो सत्तास्थान होते हैं तथा मनुष्यगतिप्रायोग्य २६ प्रकृतियों को देव और नारक ही बांधते हैं। सो इनमें से नारकों के २१. २५, २७, २८ और २६ प्रकृतिक, ये पांच उदयस्थान होते हैं तथा देवों के पूर्वोक्त पाँच और ३० प्रकृतिक, ये छह उदयस्थान होते हैं। इन सब उदयस्थानों में १२ और ८८ प्रकृतिक, ये दो-दो सत्तास्थान होते हैं तथा मनुष्यगति योग्य ३० प्रकृतियों का बंध देव और नारक करते है सो इनमें से देवों के पूर्वोक्त ६ उदयस्थान होते हैं और उनमें से प्रत्येक में १३ और प्रकृतिक, ये दो-दो सत्तास्थान होते हैं । नारकों के उदयस्थान तो पूर्वोक्त पांच ही होते हैं किन्तु इनमें सत्तास्थान पर प्रकृतिक एक-एक ही होता है क्योंकि तीर्थकर और आहारक चतुष्क की युगपत् सत्ता वाले जीव नारकों में उत्पन्न नहीं होते हैं। इस प्रकार २१ से लेकर ३० प्रकृतिक उदयस्थानों में से प्रत्येक में सामान्य से ६३. १२, ८६ और ८८ प्रकृतिक, ये चार-चार सत्तास्थान होते हैं और ३१ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में ६२ और ८८ प्रकृतिक ये दो सत्तास्थान होते हैं । इस प्रकार अविरत सम्यग्दृष्टि गुणस्थान में सामान्य से कुल ३० सत्तास्थान हुए । जिनका विवरण निम्न प्रकार से जानना चाहिये--
