३१ प्रकृतिक, ये दो उदयस्थान होते हैं। पूर्व में बंधस्थानों का विचार करते समय यह बताया जा चुका है कि सासादन जीव देवगतिप्रायोग्य ही २६ प्रकृतियों का बंध करता है, नमातित्राकोर १८ प्रकृति का. नहीं। उसमें भी करणपर्याप्त सासादन जीव ही देवगतिप्रायोग्य को बांधता है। इसलिये यहाँ ३० और ३१ प्रकृतिक, इन दो उदयस्थानों के अलावा अन्य शेष उदयस्थान संभव नहीं हैं। अब यदि मनुष्यों की अपेक्षा ३० प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान का विचार करते हैं तो वहाँ ६२ और ८८ प्रकृतिक, ये दो सत्तास्थान संभव हैं और यदि तिर्यंच पंचेन्द्रियों की अपेक्षा ३० प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान का विचार करते हैं तो वहाँ ८८ प्रकृतिक, यह एक ही सत्तास्थान संभव हैं क्योंकि ६२ प्रकृतियों को सत्ता उसी को प्राप्त होती है जो उपशमश्रेणि से च्युत होकर सासादन भाव को प्राप्त होता है किन्तु तिर्यचों में उपशमथेणि संभव नहीं है। अत: यहाँ ६२ प्रकृतिक सत्तास्थान का निषेध किया है।
तिर्यच पंचेन्द्रिय और मनुष्यों के योग्य २६ प्रकृतियों का बंध करने वाले सासादन जीवों के पूर्वोक्त सातों ही उदयस्थान संभव है, इनमें से
और सब उदयस्थानों में तो एक ८८ प्रकृतियों की ही सत्ता प्राप्त होती है किन्तु ३० के उदय में मनुष्यों के ६२ और ८८ प्रकृतिक, ये दोनों ही सत्तास्थान संभव है। २६ के समान ३० प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान का भी कथन करना चाहिये।
३१ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में प्रकृतियों की ही सत्ता प्राप्त होती है। क्योंकि ३१ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान तिर्यंचों के ही प्राप्त होता है।
इस प्रकार सासादन गुणस्थान में कुल ८ सत्तास्थान होते हैं। सासादन गुणस्थान के बंध, उदय और सत्तास्थानों और संबंध का विवरण इस प्रकार जानना चाहिये--
