सप्ततिका प्रकरण में १२ भंग और एक प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में ५ भंग होते हैं, जिनका कुल जोड़ १७ हुआ। इन्हें वहाँ संभव उपयोगों की संख्या ७ से गुणित कर देने पर ११९ होते हैं। जिनको पूर्व राशि में मिला देने पर कुल भंग ७७०३ होते हैं । कहा भी है---
जपपागुनोगेस सगसरिसमा तिक्त्तर होति ।। अर्थात्-मोहनीय के उदयस्थान विकल्पों को वहां संभव उपयोगों से गुणित करने पर उनका कुल प्रमाण ७७०३ होता है।
किन्तु मिश्र गुणस्थान में उपयोगों के बारे में एक मत यह भी है कि सम्यग्मिध्यादृष्टि गुणस्थान में पांच के बजाय अवधि दर्शन सहित छह उपयोग पाये जाते हैं। अत: इस मत को स्वीकार करने पर मिन गुणस्थान की ४ चौबीसी को ६ से गुणित करने से २४ होते हैं और इन २४ को २४ से गुणित करने पर ५७६ होते हैं अर्थात् इस गुणस्थान में ४८० की बजाय ६६ भंग और बढ़ जाते हैं । अत: पूर्व बताये गये 199०३ भंगों में ६६ को जोड़ने पर कुल भंगों की संख्या ७७६६ प्राप्त होती है। इस प्रकार ये उपयोग-गुणित उदयस्थान भंग जानना चाहिये।
