२७१ बंधस्थान में दो भंग बतलाये हैं वे प्रमत्तसंयत गुणस्थान की अपेक्षा कहे गये हैं।'
'पंचानियट्टिठाणे' आठवें गुणस्थान के अनन्तर नौवें अनिवृत्तिबादर नामक गणस्थान में ५, ४. ३, २ और प्रकृतिक ये पांच बंधस्थान होते हैं । इसका कारण यह है कि नौवें गुणस्थान के पांच भाग हैं और प्रत्येक भाग में कम से मोहनीय कर्म की एक-एक प्रकृति का बंधविच्छेद होने से पहले भाग में ५, दूसरे भाग में ४, तीसरे भाग में ३, चौथे भाग में २ और पाँचवें भाग में १ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान होने से नौवें गुणस्थान में पांच बंधस्थान माने हैं। इसके बाद सूक्षमसंपराय
आदि आगे के गुणस्थानों में बंध का अभाव हो जाने से बंधस्थान का निषेध किया है।
उक्त कथन का सारांश यह है कि आदि के आठ गुणस्थानों में रो प्रत्येक में एक-एक बंधस्थान है। नौवें गुणस्थान में पांच बंधस्थान हैं तथा उसके बाद दसवें, ग्यारहवें, बारहवें, तेरहवें, चौदहवें गुणस्थान में मोहनीय कर्म के बंध का अभाव होने से कोई भी बंधस्थान नहीं है ।
इस प्रकार से गुणस्थानों में मोहनीय कर्म के बंधस्थानों का निर्देश करने के बाद अब आगे तीन गाथाओं में उदयस्थानों का कथन करते हैं ।
