होता है। परन्तु इनके मनुष्यद्विक की सत्ता होने से ७८ प्रकृतिक सत्तास्थान नहीं पाया जाता है । .
यहाँ जिज्ञासु का प्रश्न है कि अग्निकायिक और वायुकायिक जीवों के २७ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान न पाये जाने का कारण क्या है ? तो इसका समाधान यह है कि एकेन्द्रियों के २७ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान आतप.और उद्योत में से किसी एक प्रकृति के मिलाने पर होता है, किन्तु अग्निकायिक और वायुकायिक जीवों के आतप और उद्योत का उदय होता नहीं है । इसीलिये २७ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान नहीं होता है।'
२८, २९, ३० और ३५ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थानों में ७८ प्रकृतिक सत्तास्थान को छोड़कर शेष चार सत्तास्थान नियम से होते हैं। क्योंकि २८, २६ और ३० प्रकृतियों का उदय पर्याप्त विकलेन्द्रियों, तिथंच पंचेन्द्रिय और मनुष्यों को होता है और ३१ प्रकृतिक उदयस्धान पर्याप्त विकलेन्द्रियों और पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंचों को होता है । परन्तु इन जीवों के मनुष्य गति, मनुष्यानुपूर्वी की सत्ता नियम से पाई जाती है। अत: उन उदयस्थानों में ७८ प्रकृतिक सत्तास्थान नहीं होता.। इस प्रकार २३ प्रकृतियों का बंध करने वाले जीवों के यथायोग्य नौ उदयस्थानों की अपेक्षा चालीस सत्तास्थान होते हैं।
२५ और २६ प्रकृतियों का बंध करने वाले जीवों के भी उदयस्थान और सत्तास्थान इसी प्रकार जानने चाहिये । किन्तु इतनी विशेषता है कि पर्याप्त एकेन्द्रिय योग्य २५, और २६ प्रकृतियों का बंध करने वाले देवों के २१, २५, २७, २८, २६ और ३० प्रकृतिक उदयस्थानों में १२ और ८८ प्रकृतिक ये दो सत्तास्थान ही प्राप्त होते हैं । अपर्याप्त १ अथ कथं तेजोवायूनां सप्तविंशत्युदयो न भवति येन तदर्जनं क्रियते ?
उच्यते- सप्तविंशत्युदय एकेन्द्रियाणामातप-उद्योतान्यतरप्रक्षेपे सति प्राप्यते, न च तेजोवायुष्वातप-उद्योतोदयः सम्भवति, ततस्तद्वर्जनम् ।
