पदवृन्दों को छोड़ दिया जाये तो क्रमशः उनकी संख्या ६८३ और ६६४७ होती है ।
यहाँ मोहनीय कर्म के उदयविकल्प दो प्रकार से बताये हैं, एक ६५ और दूसरे ६८३ । इनमें से ६६५ उदयविकल्पों में दो प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान के २४ भंग तथा ६८३ उदयविकल्पों में दो प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान के १२ भंग लिये हैं। पंचसंग्रह सप्ततिका में भी ये उदयविकल्प बतलाये हैं, किन्तु वहाँ तीन प्रकार से बतलाये हैं। पहले प्रकार में यहाँ वाले ६६५, दूसरे में यहाँ वाले ६८३ प्रकार से कुछ अन्तर पड़ जाता है। इसका कारण यह है कि यहाँ एक प्रकृतिक उदय के बन्धाबन्ध की अपेक्षा ग्यारह भंग लिये हैं और पंचसंग्रह सप्ततिका में उदय की अपेक्षा प्रकृति वेद से लिये है, जिससे श से ७ घटा देने पर कुल ६७६ उदय-विकल्प रह जाते हैं। तीसरे प्रकार से उदय - विकल्प गिनाते हुए गुणस्थान भेद से उनकी संख्या १२६५ कर दी है ।
गो० कर्मकाण्ड में भी इनकी संख्या बतलाई है। किन्तु वहाँ इनके दो भेद कर दिये हैं- पुनरुक्त भंग और अपुनरुक्त भंग । पुनरुक्त भंग १२८३ गिनाये हैं । इनमें से १२६५ तो वही हैं जो पंचसंग्रह सप्ततिका में गिनाये हैं और चार प्रकृतिक संघ में दो प्रकृतिक उदय की अपेक्षा १२ भंग और लिये हैं तथा पंचसंग्रह सप्ततिका में एक प्रकृतिक उदय के जो पाँच भंग लिये हैं, वे यहाँ ११ कर दिये गये हैं। इस प्रकार पंचसंग्रह सप्ततिका से १८ भंग बढ़ जाने से कर्मकाण्ड में उनकी संख्या १२८३ हो गई तथा कर्मकाण्ड में अपुनरुक्क भंग ६७७ गिनाये हैं। सो एक प्रकृतिक उदय का गुणस्थान भेद से एक भंग अधिक कर दिया गया है । जिससे ९७६ के स्थान पर ९७७ भंग हो जाते हैं।
