एक्कग छक्केक्कारस वस सत्त चउक्क एक्कगा चेव । एए चउवीसगया चउवीस दुगेक्कमिक्कारा ॥१८॥
शब्दार्थ-एक्कग-एक, छक्फेक्कारस--छह, ग्यारह, दसदल, सस-सात, चउक्क-चार, एककमा--एक, देव-निश्चय से, एए-ये मंग, घजयीसगया-- चौबीस की संख्या वाले होते हैं, चउवोस-चौबीस, दुग-दो के उदय होने पर, इक्कमिक्कारा-एक के उदय में ग्यारह मंग ।
गायार्थ-दस प्रकृतिक आदि उदयस्थानों में कम से एक, छह, ग्यारह, दस, सात, चार और एक, इतने चौबीस विकल्प रूप भंग होते हैं तथा दो प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में चौबीस और एक प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में ग्यारह भंग होते हैं। विशेषार्थ-गाथा में दस प्रकृतिक आदि प्रत्येक उदयस्थानों में चौबीस विकल्प रूप भंगों की संख्या बतलाई है। यद्यपि पहले दस प्रकृतिक आदि उदयस्थानों में कहाँ कितनी भंगों को चौबीसी होती हैं, बतला आये हैं, लेकिन यहां उनकी कुल (सम्पूर्ण) संख्या इस कारण बतलाई है कि जिससे यह ज्ञात हो जाता है कि मोहनीय कर्म के सब उदयस्थानों में सब भंगों की चौबीसी कितनी हैं और फुटकर भंग कितने होते हैं। ___ गाथा में बताई गई भंगों की चौबीसी को संख्या का उदयस्थानों के साथ यथासंख्य समायोजन करना चाहिये। जैसे दस के उदय में एक चौबीसी, नौ के उदय में छह चौबीसी आदि । इसका स्पष्टीकरण नीचे करते हैं। ___ दस प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में भंगों की एक चौबीसी होती है'एक्कग' । इसका कारण यह है कि दस प्रकृतिक उदयस्थान में प्रकृतिविकल्प नहीं होते हैं । इसीलिये एक चौबीसी बतलाई है ।
