Saptatikaprakarana
There are two types of no-natural bondage-places, one type of five natural bondage-places, one type of four natural bondage-places, one type of three natural bondage-places, one type of two natural bondage-places, and one type of one natural bondage-place. The explanation of this is given below.
There are six types in the twenty-two natural bondage-places, which are: Mithyatva, sixteen Kashayas, any one of the three Vedas, the pair of Hāsya-Rati and the pair of Shoka-Arati, and any one of these two pairs. Here, the two types are: one with the pair of Hāsya-Rati, and the other with the pair of Arati-Shoka. These two types are also obtained by the options of the three Vedas, so by multiplying 2 by 3, we get 6 types.
By removing Mithyatva from the said twenty-two natural bondage-places, there are twenty-one natural bondage-places. This is because the bondage of the Napuṃsaka Veda occurs during the rise of Mithyatva, and the Sāsādana Right-Believer does not have the rise of Mithyatva.
