पचम फर्मग्रन्थ
३६७ _ 'नमिय जिणं घुबबंधोदयसत्ता' आदि पहली गाथा में जिन विषयों के वर्णन करने की प्रतिज्ञा की गई थी, उनका वर्णन करने के पश्चात ग्रन्थकार अपना और ग्र'थ का नाम बतलाते हुए ग्र'य को समाप्त करते हैं।
देविवरिलिहियं सयमिणं आयसरणट्ठा ॥१०॥
शब्दार्थ-देविद सूरि—देवेन्द्रसूरि ने, लिहिय-- लिखा, सयग-शतक नाम का, इग-यह ग्रय, आयसरणट्ठा-आस्मस्मरण करने, बोध प्राप्त करने के लिये।
मार्थ-देने ते आत्मा का बोध प्राप्त करने के लिए इस शतक नामक ग्रन्थ की रचना की है।
विशेषार्थ -- उपसंहार के रूप में ग्रन्थकार अपनी लघुता प्रदर्शित करते हुये कहते हैं कि इस ग्र'थ का नाम 'शतक है, क्योंकि इसमें सौ गाथायें हैं और उनमें प्रारम्भ में की गई प्रतिज्ञा के अनुसार वर्ण्य विषयों का वर्णन किया गया है और यह ग्रन्थ स्वस्वरूप बोध के लिए बनाया गया है।
