अन्तरकरण करके एक अन्तमुहूर्त में मपुंसक वेद का उपशेम करता है, उसके बाद एक अन्तमुहूर्त में स्त्रीवेद का उपशम और उसके बाद हास्यादि षट्क का उपशम होते ही पुरुषवेद के बंध,उदय और उदीरणा का विच्छेद है।
हास्यादि षट्क की उपशमना के अनन्तर समय कम दो आवलिका मात्र में सकल पुरुषवेद का उपशम करता है । जिस समय में हास्यादि षट्क उपशान्त हो जाते हैं और पुरुषवेद की प्रथम स्थिति क्षीण हो जाती है, उसके अनन्तर समय में अप्रत्याख्यानावरण, प्रत्याख्यानाबरण और संज्वलन क्रोध का एक साथ उपशम करना प्रारंभ करता है और जब संज्वलन क्रोध की प्रथम स्थिति में एक आवालका काल शेष रह जाता है तब संज्वलन क्रोध के बन्ध, उदय और उदीरणा का विच्छेद हो जाता है तथा अप्रत्याख्यानावरण, प्रत्याख्यानावरण कोष का उपशम । उस समय संज्वलन क्रोध की प्रथम स्थितिगत एक आवलिका को और ऊपर की स्थितिगत एक समय कम दो आवलिका में बद्ध दलिकों को छोड़कर शेष दलिक उपशान्त हो जाते हैं। उसके बाद समय कम दो आवलिका काल में संज्वलन कोष का उपशम हो जाता है।
