थी मरुधर केसरी साहित्य प्रकाशन समिति के विभिन्न उद्देश्यों में से एक प्रमुख एवं रचनात्मक उद्देश्य है-जैनधर्म एवं दर्शन से सम्बन्धित साहित्य का प्रकाशन करना। संस्था के मार्गदर्शक परमश्रद्धय प्रवर्तक स्व. श्री मरुधरकेसरीजी महाराज स्वयं एक महान विद्वान, आशुकवि तथा : आगमा दर्शन को गर्म और सही के मार्गदर्शन में संस्था की विभिन्न लोकोपकारी प्रवृत्तियां आज भी चल रही हैं । गुरुदेव श्री साहित्य के मर्मज्ञ भी थे और अनुरागी भी थे। उनकी प्रेरणा से अब तक हमने प्रवचन, जीवन चरित्र, काव्य, आगम तथा गम्भीर विवेचनात्मक अनेकों ग्रन्थों का प्रकाशन किया है। अब विद्वानों एवं तत्त्वजिज्ञासु पाठकों के सामने हम कर्मग्नन्थ भाग ५ का द्वितीय संस्करण प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं । ____ कर्मग्रन्थ जैन दर्शन का एक महान् ग्रन्थ है । इसमें जन तत्त्वज्ञान का सर्वांग विवेचन समाया हुआ है। . ___ स्व. पूज्य गुरुदेवश्री के निर्देशन में जैन दर्शन एवं साहित्य के सुप्रसिद्ध विद्वान सम्पादक श्रीयुत श्रीचन्दजी सुराना एवं उनके सहयोगी श्री देवकुमारजी जैन ने मिलकर इस गहन ग्रन्थ का सुन्दर सम्पादन दिया है। इसका प्रथम संस्करण सन् १९७६ में प्रकाशित हुआ, जो कव का समाप्त हो चुका, और पाठकों की मांग निरन्तर आदो रही। पाठकों की मांग के अनुसार समिति के कार्यकर्ताओं ने प्रवर्तक श्री रूपचन्दजी महाराज एवं उपप्रवर्तक श्री सुकनमुनिजी महाराज से इसके द्वितीय संस्करण के लिए स्वीकृति मांगी, तदनुसार गुरुदेवश्री की स्वीकृति एवं प्रेरणा से अब यह द्वितीय संस्करण पाठकों के हाथों में प्रस्तुत है । आशा है, कर्म सिद्धान्त के जिज्ञासु, विद्यार्थी आदि इससे लाभान्वित होंगे।
