यानी एक मुहूर्त ४८ मिनट के बराबर होता है और एक मुहूर्त में ३७७३ श्वासोच्छ्वास होते हैं। अतः ३७७३ में ४८ से भाग देने पर एक मिनट में साढ़े अठहत्तर के लगभग श्वासोच्छ्वास आते हैं, अर्थात् एक श्वासोच्छ्वास का काल एक सेकिण्ड से भो कम होता है और उतने काल में निगोदिया जीव सत्रह से भी कुछ अधिक बार जन्म धारण करता है । इससे क्षुल्लक भब की क्षुद्रता का सरलता से अनुमान किया जा सकता है ।
क्षुल्लक भव की इस सूक्ष्मता को गाया में स्पष्ट किया गया है कि क्षुल्लक भव का समय एक श्वासोच्छ्वास के सत्रह से भी कुछ अधिक अंशों में से एक अंश है।
इस प्रकार से के सिवाय शेष कृतियों के स्थितिबंध और सभी प्रकृतियों के जघन्य स्थितिबंध का निरूपण करके अब आगे उनके उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबंध के स्वामियां को बतलाते हैं ।
