गाथार्थ - नाम और गोत्र कर्म की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति बीस कोडाकोड़ी सागरोपम होती है। मोहनीय कर्म की सत्तर कोड़ाकोडी सागरोपम, बाकी के चार कर्मों की तीस कोड़ाकोडी सागरोपम तथा नारक और देवों की आयु तेतीस सागरोपम है ।
अकषायी को छोड़कर ( सकषायी की) वेदनीय कर्म की जघन्य स्थिति बारह मुहूर्त है। नाम और गोत्र कर्म की आठआठ मुहूर्त तथा शेष पांच कर्मों की जघन्य स्थिति अन्तमुहूर्त प्रमाण होती है ।
