नाम ।
प्रस्तुत प्रकरण की चौथा कर्मप्रन्य' यह नाम प्रसिद्ध है, किन्तु इसका असली नाम षडशीतिक है । यह 'चौया फर्मग्रन्थ' इसलिये कहा गया है कि छह कर्मग्रन्थों में इसका नम्बर चौथा है। और 'षडशीतिक' नाम इसलिये नियत है कि इसमें मूल गाथाएँ छियास हैं । इसके fear इस प्रकरण को सुकमा बिचार भी कहते हैं, सो इसलिये कि प्रथकार ने ग्रन्थ के अन्त में "सुहमस्थ वियारों" शब्दका उल्लेख किया है । इस प्रकार वेखने से यह स्पष्ट ही मालूम होता है कि प्रस्तुत प्रकरण के उक्त तीनों नाम अभ्वर्य - सार्थक हैं ।
