२४ प्रकृतियों का बन्ध अनन्तानुबन्धी कषाय के उदय में होता है और अनन्तानुबन्धी कषाय का उदय पहले और दूसरे गुणस्थान तक होता है, अतः पूर्वोक्त ६१ प्रकृतियों में से इन २४ प्रकृत्तियों को कम करने पर ६७ प्रकृत्तियाँ रहती है। इनमें मनुष्याद्विक-मनुष्यगति, मनुष्यानु. पूर्वी तथा उच्चमोत्र हम तीन प्रकृतियों को मिलाने से तीसरे मिश्र गुणस्थान और चौथे अविरतसम्यग्दष्टि गुणस्थानवी सालवे नरक के नारकों के ७० प्रकृतियों का बन्ध होता है।
. पूर्व-पूर्व नरक ने उत्तर-3र नरक में अमवसायों की झुद्धि इतनी कम हो जाती है कि पुण्यप्रकृतियों के बंधक परिणाम पूर्व-पूर्व से उत्तर-उत्तर नरक में अल्प से अल्पतर होते जाते हैं। यद्यपि आठवें गुणस्थान के छठे भाग तक जीव प्रति समय किसी न किसी मति का बन्ध कर सकता है। किन्तु नरकगति के योग्य अध्यवसाय पहले गुणस्थान तक, तिर्यंचगति के योग्य आदि के दो गुणस्थान तक, देवगति के योग्य आठवें गुणस्थान के छठे भाग तक और मनुष्यति के योग्य चौथे गुणस्थान तक होते हैं। नारक जीब नरक और देव गति का बन्ध नहीं कर सकते हैं । अतः तीसरे और चौथे मुणस्थान में सातवें नरक के नारक मनुष्य-गतियोग्य वन्ध कर सकते हैं। लेकिन वे जीव आयुष्य का बन्ध पहले गुणस्थान में ही करते हैं. अन्य गुणस्थानों में तयोग्य अध्यवसाय का अभाव होने से बन्ध नहीं करते हैं। पहले और चौथे गुणस्थान में सातवें नरक के जीव के मनुष्यमति प्रायोग्य बन्ध के लायचा परिणाम नहीं होने में मनुष्य प्रायोग्य बन्ध नहीं होता है।
