मोहनीय, हंडसस्थान और सेवात संहनन-इन चार प्रकतियों को नहीं बांधते हैं। क्योंकि इन चार प्रकृतियों का बंध मिथ्यात्व के उदयकाल में होता है। लेकिन सास्वादन के समय मिथ्यात्व का उदय नहीं होता है। अर्थात् नरकत्रिक, जारिचतुष्क, स्थावरचतुष्क, हंड संस्थान, आतप नाम, मेवात संहनन, नप सक वेट और मिथ्यात्वमोहनीय-इन सोलह प्रकृतियों का बध मिथ्यात्व निमित्तक है। इनमें से नरकषिक, सूक्ष्मत्रिका विकलत्रिक. एकेन्द्रिय जाति. स्थावर नाम और आतप नाम-इन बारह प्रकृतियों को नारक जीव भन्न-स्वभाव के कारण बाँधते ही नहीं हैं। अतः देव द्विक आदि में ग्रहण करके इन बारह प्रकृतियों को सामान्य बंध के समय ही कम कर दिया गया और शेष रही नपुसक वेद, मिथ्यात्य मोहनीय. हंड संस्थान और मेवात संहनन-ये प्रकृतियां मिथ्यात्व के निमित्त से बँधती हैं और मास्वादन गुणस्थान में मिथ्यात्व का उदय नहीं है। अतः सास्वादन गुणस्थान में इन चार प्रकृतियों को मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थानवर्ती मारक जीवों की बंधयोन्य १०० प्रकृतियों में से कम करने पर दूसरे सास्वादन गुणस्थानवी नारक जीवों के ६६ प्रकतियाँ बंधयोग्य नहीं हैं। ___ सारांश यह है कि बंधयोग्य १२० प्रकृतियों में मे नरकगति में सामान्य बंध की अपेक्षा सुरद्विक आदि आता नामकर्म पर्यन्त १६ प्रकृतियों के बंधयोग्य न होने में १०१ प्रऋतियों का बंध होता है।
नरकगति में मिथ्यात्वादि पहले में नौथे तक चार गुणस्थान होते हैं । अतः नरकगति में बंधयोग्य १०१ प्रकृतियों में में तीर्थङ्कर नामकर्म का बंध सम्यक्त्व निमित्तक होने से मिथ्यात्व गणस्थानवर्ती नारक' जीवों के तीर्थङ्कर नामकर्म का बंध नहीं होने से १०० प्रकृतियों का तथा नपुसक वेद आदि चार प्रकृतियों का बंच मिथ्यात्व के उदय होने पर होता है और सास्वादन मुणस्थान में मिथ्यात्व का उदय नहीं होने से मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान की बंधयोग्य १०० प्रकृतियों में से नपुसक वेद आदि चार प्रकृतियों को कम करने से ६६ प्रकृतियों का बंध होता है।
