संभवतः कर्मग्रन्थ और गोम्मटसार कर्मकाण्ड के वर्णन में कहीं-कहीं भिन्नता हो सकती है । लेकिन ग्रह मित्रता आंशिक होगी और उसकी अपेक्षा समानता अधिक है । अत: जिभानुजन वादे-सादे जायते तत्त्वजो की दृष्टि से गोम्मटसार कर्मकाण्य . जदत अंश की उपयोगिता समा३२ कर्मसाक्षिय के तुलनात्मक अध्ययन की ओर प्रवृत्त हों, यह आकांक्षा है ।
अन्स में पाठकों को अब तक कम साहित्य पर लिखित विविध ग्रन्थों का ऐतिहासिक परिचय भी कर दिया है, ताकि विषय के शिज्ञासु, इन ग्रन्थों के परिशीलन की ओर आकृष्ट हों।
प्रथम तीनों भाग की मूल गाथाएं भी इसलिए दी गई है कि कर्मग्रन्थ के रसिक उन्हें कण्ठस्थ करके पूरै ग्रन्थ को हाई हृदयंगम कर सकें । कुल मिलाकर प्रयत्न यह गया किया है कि अन्य सभी दृष्टियों से उपयोगी बन सके । मूल्यांकन पाठकों के हाथ में है।
