माना जाये तो इसमें जीव के पुरुषार्थ की हानि ही है। अब जीव को फल की प्राप्ति पराधीन है तो फिर सत्कर्मों में प्रवृत्ति एवं कर्मों से निवृति के लिए उत्साह जागत नहीं होगा और न इस ओर प्रयत्न परुषार्थ किया जायेगा । उक्त कथन का सारांश यह है कि संसारो जीवों में दृश्यमान विचित्रताओं, farmerओं आदि का कारण कर्म है । कर्माधीन होकर ही संसार के अनन्त tara fवभिन्न प्रकार के शरीरों, इन्द्रियों को न्यूनाधिकता वाले हैं। इतना ही नहीं, उनके आत्मगुणों के विकास की अल्पाधिकता का कारण भी कर्म है ।
मार्गणाओं में कबन्ध के कारण शारीरिक, मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक fer से युक्त इन्हीं संसारी जीवों का वर्गीकरण किया गया है । माणायें जीवों के विकास की सूचक नहीं है किन्तु स्वाभाविक वैभाविक रूपों का अनेक प्रकार से वर्गीकरण करके उनका व्यवस्थित रूप दिया गया है जिससे कि उनकी शारीरिक क्षमता का और क्षमता के कारण होने वाले आत्मिक free की तरलता का सही रूप में अंकन किया जा सके ।
मार्गणाओं में
स्वामित्व के ज्ञान की उपयोगिता arat कर्मग्रन्थ में मार्गणाओं के आधार से जीवों को कर्मबन्ध की योग्यता का दिग्दर्शन कराया गया है, तो प्रश्न होता है कि जब दूसरे कर्मग्रन्थ में गुणस्थानों के अनुसार समस्त संसारी जीवों के चौदह विभाग करके प्रत्येक विभाग की कर्मविषयक वन्ध, उदय, जदौरणा और सत्ता सम्बन्धी योग्यता का वर्णन किया जा चुका है और उससे सभी जीवों के आध्यात्मिक उत्कर्ष - अपकर्ष का ज्ञान हो जाता है तब मार्गणाओं के आधार से पुनः उनकी बन्धयोग्यता बतलाने की क्या उपयोगिता है और ऐसे प्रयास की आवश्यकता भी क्या है ?
