बंध प्रकृतियों की संख्या
सत्तरसेकग्गस्यं चउसततरि समट्ठ तेवट्ठी । धावणादुवीस सत्तारसेको ।। १*३॥

मिथ्यादृष्टि आदि गुणस्थानों में क्रमशः ११७, १०१ ७४७५ ६७, ६३, ५६, ५८, २२. १७, १, १ १. इस प्रकार का बन्ध तेरहवें गुणस्थान तक होता है | चौदहवें गुणस्थान में बन्ध नहीं होता है । इसका अर्थ यह है कि सामान्य से बन्धयोग्य १२० प्रकृतियाँ हैं, उनमें में मिध्यादृष्टि गुणस्थान में areer और आहारकदिक इन तीन प्रकृतियों का बन्ध नहीं होने से १२० - ३ः ११७ प्रकृतियों शेष रहती हैं। इसी प्रकार से द्वितीय आदि गुणस्थानों में भी समझना चाहिए कि जैसे पहले गुणस्थान में व्युचि प्रकृतियाँ १६ हैं और ३ प्रकृतियां बन्ध है तो १६ + ३ == १६ प्रकृतियां दूसरे गुणस्थान में बन्धरूप है, यानी १६ प्रकृतियों का बन्ध नहीं होता है। इसी प्रकार अगे के गुणस्थानों में भी व्युच्छिन्न प्रकृतियों को घटाने से प्रत्येक गुणस्थान की बन्धसंख्या निकल आती है ।
