देशविरति आदि गुणस्थानों में देवायु के बिना अन्य स्वयोग्य
अकृतियों का बन्ध होता है ।
- पूर्व गाथा में सम्यक् मार्गणा के उपशम, क्षयोपवन और क्षायिक भेदों में बन्धस्वामित्व बतलाया गया है। उनमें asara के चौथे से लेकर ग्यारहवें तक आठ गुणस्थान बतलाये गये हैं और सामान्य एवं गुणस्थानों की अपेक्षा बन्धस्वामित्व किया गया है। लेकिन सम्यक् में गहू विशेषता है कि इसमें वर्तमान जीव के अध्यवसाय ऐसे नहीं होते हैं, जिनसे आयु का बन्ध किया जा सके। क्योंकि उपशम सम्यक्त्व दो प्रकार का 2--- (१) ग्रन्थिभेदजन्य तथा (२) उपशम श्रेणी में होने वाला। इनमें से ग्रन्थिभेदजन्य उपशम सम्यक् अनादि मिथ्यात्व जीव को होता है और उपशम श्रेणी वाला आठवें में ग्यारह इन चार गुणस्थानों में होता है।
उक्त दोनों प्रकारों में से उपशम श्रेणी सम्बन्धी गुणस्थानों में आयु का बन्ध सुर्वा वर्जित है । क्योंकि आयुबन्ध सातवें गुणस्थान तक होता है, उससे आगे नहीं ।
