तिर्यंचत्रिक आदि २५ प्रकृतियों को कम करने से तीसरे ७६ प्रकृतियाँ बन्धयोग्य मानी जानी चाहिए थीं ।

गुणस्थान में
किन्तु तीसरे - मिश्र गुणस्थानवर्ती ( सम्यग्मिथ्यादृष्टिगुणस्थानवर्ती) जीव का स्वभाव ऐसा होता है कि उस समय उसका मरण नहीं होता है और न परभव सम्बन्धी आयु का बन्ध ही होता है ।" क्योंकि मिश्रगुणस्थान और मिश्र काययोग की स्थिति में आयुकर्म का बन्ध नहीं हो सकता है । इसलिए आयुकर्म के चार भेदों में से नरकायु का बन्ध पहले गुणस्थान तक और तिचायु का बन्ध दूसरे गुणस्थान तक होने से तथा 'दुआउ अबन्धा' बाकी की मनुष्यायु और देवायु इन दो आयु का तीसरे गुणस्थान में बन्ध न होने से नरकत्रिक आदि पूर्वोक्त २५ प्रकृतियों तथा मनुष्यायु एवं देवायु सहित कुल २७ प्रकृतियों को सासादन गुणस्थान की बन्धयोग्य १०१ प्रकृतियों में से कम करने पर शेष ७४ कमंप्रकृतियाँ तीसरे गुणस्थान में बन्धयोग्य हैं ।
अब आगे की गाथा में चौथे अविरतसम्यग्दृष्टि, पाँचवे देशविरत और छठे प्रमत्तसंयत गुणस्थान में बन्धयोग्य प्रकृतियों की संख्या और इनके नाम बतलाते हैं
सम्मे सगरि जिणाउबन्धि, बद्दर नरतिग वियकसाय | उरलगन्तो बेसे बेसे, सत्सट्ठी तिअफसान्तो ||६||
