कर्मप्रकृतियों की संख्या और नाम एवं दूसरे गुणस्थान में बन्धप्रकृतियों की संख्या बतलाते हैं। नरयतिग
जाजर, हुंगागिर सोलंतो इगहियसउ, सासणि तिरिथीणदुहगतिगं ॥४॥ गाथार्थ- नरकत्रिक, जातिचतुष्क, स्थावरचतुष्क, हुंड-संस्थान, आतपनाम', सेवासिंहनन, नपुसकवेद और मिथ्यात्वमोहनीय इन सोलह प्रकृतियों का मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान के अन्त में बन्धविच्छेद होने से सासादन गुणस्थान में १०१ कर्मप्रकृतियाँ बन्धयोग्य हैं । उक्त १०१ प्रकृतियों में से तिर्यचत्रिक, स्त्यानद्धित्रिक दुर्भगत्रिक और इनके सिवाय अन्य १६ प्रकृतियों का बन्धविच्छेद सासादन गुण स्थान के अन्त में होता है । जिनके नाम आगे की गाथा में गिनाये जायेंगे।
विशेषार्थ-- इस गाथा में मुख्य रूप से दूसरे-सासादन गुणस्थान में बन्धयोग्य प्रकृतियों की संख्या और पहले मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान के अन्त में बन्धविच्छेद को प्राप्त होने वाली सोलह प्रकृतियों के नाम बताये गये हैं। इन सोलह प्रकृतियों में से कुछ एक प्रकृतियों के पूरे नाम नहीं लिखकर नरकत्रिक, जातिचतुष्क आदि संज्ञाओं द्वारा संकेत किया गया है। जिनके द्वारा निम्नलिखित प्रकृतियों को ग्रहण किया गया है: नरकत्रिक - नरकगति, नरकासुपूर्वी, नरकायु । - जातिचतुष्क -एकेन्द्रियजाति, द्वीन्द्रियजाति, श्रीन्द्रियजाति, चतुरिन्द्रिय जाति ।
