श्री मरुधर केसरी साहित्य प्रकाशन समिति के विभिन्न उद्देश्यों में एक प्रमुख एवं रचनात्मक उद्देश्य है- जैनधर्म एवं दर्शन से सम्बन्धित साहित्य का प्रकाशन करना। संस्था के मार्गदर्शक परमश्रद्वेय श्री मरुधर केसरी जी म० स्वयं एक महान विद्वान, आशुकवि तथा जैन आगम तथा दर्शन के गज हैं और उन्हीं के मार्गदर्शन में संस्था की विभिन्न लोकोपकारी प्रवृत्तियाँ चल रही हैं । गुरुदेव श्री साहित्य के मर्मज्ञ एवं अनुरागी है। उनकी प्रेरणा से अब तक हमने प्रवचन, जीवनचरित्र, काव्य, आगम तथा गम्भीर विवेचनात्मक ग्रन्थों का प्रकाशन किया है । अब विद्वानों एवं तत्त्वजिज्ञासु पाठकों के सामने हम उनका चिर प्रतीक्षित ग्रन्थ 'कर्मग्रन्थ' विवेचन युक्त प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं ।
कर्मग्रन्थ जंनदर्शन का एक महान ग्रन्य है । इनके छह भागों में जैन तत्त्वज्ञान का सर्वांग विवेचन समाया हुआ है । पूज्य गुरुदेवधी के निर्देशन में प्रसिद्ध लेखक - सम्पादक श्रीयुत श्रीचन्द जी सुराना एवं उनके सहयोगी श्री देवकुमारजी जैन ने मिलकर इसका सुन्दर सम्पादन किया है । तपस्वीवर श्री रजतमुनिजी एवं विद्याविनोदी श्री सुकनमुनिजी की प्रेरणा से यह विराट कार्य सुन्दर ढंग से सम्पन्न हुआ है ।
हम अतिशीघ्र क्रमश : अन्य भागों में सम्पूर्ण कर्मग्रन्थ विवेचनयुक्त पाठकों की सेवा में प्रस्तुत करेंगे। प्रथम भाग कुछ समय पूर्व ही पाठकों के हाथों में पहुँच चुका है। अब यह दूसरा भाग पाठकों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत है ।
