छठे गुणस्थान से बागे प्रमाद का अभाव है । आहारकद्विकका उदय तो प्रमत्तसंयत को ही होता है। इसलिए इन पाँच प्रकृतियों का उदयविच्छेद छठे गुणस्थान के चरम समय में हो जाता है। जिससे छठे गुणस्थान की उदययोग्य ८१ प्रकृतियों में से इन पांच प्रकृतियों को कम करने से सातवे गुणस्थान में ७६ प्रकृतियाँ उदययोग्य हैं ।

यद्यपि आहारकशरीर बना लेने के बाद भी कोई मुनि विशुद्ध परिणाम से आहारकशरीरवान होने पर भी सातवें गुणस्थान को पर सकते हैं: रेखा कम होता है। बहुत ही अल्पकाल के लिए ऐसा होता है, अतएव सातवें गुणस्थान में आहारकद्विक के उदय को नहीं गिना है । इसीलिए सातवें गुणस्थान में ७६ प्रकृतियों का उदय माना है ।
इस प्रकार पहले से लेकर सातवं गुणस्थान तक की उदययोग्य प्रकृतियों की संख्या और उनके अन्तिम समय में उदयविच्छिन्न होने वाली प्रकृतियों के नाम बताने के अनन्तर अब आगे की गाथाओं में आठवें - अपूर्वकरण गुणस्थान से लेकर ग्यारहवें - उपशान्त-कषायवीतराग-द्मस्थ गुणस्थान तक कर्मप्रकृतियों के उदय आदि को समझाते हैं ।

**Chapter 6:**

There is no negligence in the sixth *guna-sthana*. The arising of the *aaharaka-dvaya* happens only to those who are *pramatta-samyata*. This reduces the number of *prakritis* that can arise in the sixth *guna-sthana* from 81 to 76, which are then eligible to arise in the seventh *guna-sthana*.

**Chapter 7:**

Even though a *muni* may have an *aaharaka-sharira* after attaining pure *parinaama*, they can still pass through the seventh *guna-sthana*. The line is thin. This happens for a very short time, therefore the arising of the *aaharaka-dvaya* in the seventh *guna-sthana* is not counted. This is why the seventh *guna-sthana* is considered to have 76 *prakritis* that can arise.
