का बन्ध नहीं होता है । यद्यपि सातवें गुणस्थान में ५६ प्रकृतियों के बन्ध का आपेक्षिक पक्ष कहा गया है, उसमें देवायु की भी गणना की गई है। इसके लिए यह समझना चाहिए कि छठे गुणस्थान में प्रारम्भ किये हुए देवायु केन्द्र की सातवें स्थान में होती है अतः उसी अपेक्षा से सातवें गुणस्थान की बन्धयोग्य ५६ प्रकृतियों में देवायु की गणना की गई है। किन्तु सातवें गुणस्थान में देवायु के बन्ध का प्रारम्भ नहीं होता और आठवें आदि गुणस्थान में तो देवायु के बन्ध का प्रारम्भ भी नहीं होता और समाप्ति भी नहीं होती है। अतएव देवायु को छोड़कर शेष ५८ प्रकृतियाँ आठवे गुणस्थान के प्रथम भाग में बन्धयोग्य हैं ।
आठवें गुणस्थान की स्थिति अन्तर्मुहूर्त प्रमाण है और उस स्थिति के सात भाग होते हैं । इन भागों में से पहले भाग में तो ५८ प्रकृतियों का बन्ध होता है और पहले भाग के अन्तिम समय में निद्राद्विक -- निद्रा और प्रचला- इन दो प्रकृतियों का बन्धविच्छेद हो जाने से आगे दूसरे से लेकर छठे भाग तक पांच भागों में ५६ प्रकृतियों का बन्ध होता है ।
इन ५६ प्रकृतियों में से छठे भाग के अन्त में निम्नलिखित ३० प्रकृतियों का बन्धविच्छेद हो जाता है
