गोम्मटसार कर्मकाण्ड-५९० बन्ध-उदय घ सत्त्व में से दो को आधार तथा एक को आधेय बनाकर कथन करते हैं
बंधुदये सत्तपदं बंधंसे णेयमुदयटाणं च।
उदयंसे बंधपदं दुट्ठाणाधारमेकमाधेज्जं ॥६७३ ।। अर्थ- बन्ध-उदयस्थानोंमें सत्त्वस्थान, बन्ध-सत्त्वस्थानोंमें उदयस्थान और उदय-सत्त्वस्थानों में बन्धस्थान इसप्रकार दो स्थानोंको आधार तथा एक स्थानको आधेय बनाकर तीन प्रकारसे भा जानने चाहिए। अब सर्वप्रथम ६ गाथाओं से बन्ध-उदयस्थानों में सत्त्वस्थानों का कथन करते हैं
बावीसेण णिरुद्धे दसचउरुदये दसादिटाणतिये।
अट्ठावीसति सत्तं सत्तुदये अट्टवीसेव ॥६७४।। अर्थ – २२ प्रकृतिक बन्धसहित जीवके १०-९-८ व १७ प्रकृतिक चारउदयस्थान हैं। उनमें १०-९ व ८ प्रकृतिक तीनस्थानोंमें सत्त्वस्थान २८-२७ व २६ प्रकृतिक तीन हैं और ७ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थानमें २८ प्रकृतिक स्थानका ही सत्त्व है।
इगिवीसेण णिरुद्ध णवयतिये सत्तमट्ठवीसेव ।
सत्तरसे णवचदुरे अडचउतिदुगेकवीसंसा ।।६७५ ॥ अर्थ – २१ प्रकृतिक बन्धसहित जीवके ९-८-७ प्रकृतिक तीनस्थानोंके उदयहोनेपर २८ प्रकृतिक एक ही सत्त्वस्थान है और १७ प्रकृतिक बन्धस्थानसहित जीवके ९-८-७ व ६ प्रकृतिक चारस्थानोंका उदय होनेपर २८-२४-२३-२२ और २१ प्रकृतिरूप ५ सत्त्वस्थान हैं। यहाँपर कुछ विशेषता है उसे २ गाथाओं में कहते हैं
इगिवीसं ण हि पढमे चरिमे तिदुवीसयं ण तेरणवे।
अडचउसगचउरुदये सत्तं सत्तरसयं व हवे ॥६७६॥ अर्थ - प्रथम ९ प्रकृतिका उदय होनेपर २१ प्रकृतिक सत्त्वस्थान नहीं होता है और अन्तमें ६ प्रकृतिका उदय होनेपर २३ व २२ प्रकृतिरूप सत्त्वस्थान नहीं होता तथा १३ प्रकृति के बन्धसहित ८१७-६ व ५ प्रकृतिरूप चार उदयस्थानोंके होनेपर तथा ५ प्रकृतिक बधस्थानसहित ७-६-५ व ४ प्रकृतिक चार उदयस्थानोंके होनेपर जैसे १७ प्रकृतिके स्थानमें सत्त्वस्थान कहे थे उसीप्रकार यहाँ भी सत्त्वस्थान जानना अर्थात् १३ प्रकृति का बन्ध होते हुए ५ प्रकृतिक उदयस्थानमें और ९ प्रकृतिका अन्ध

**Bandhudaye sattapadam bandhamse neyamudayatanam cha.
Udayamse bandhapadam duttanaadharamekamaadhezjam. ||673||**

**Meaning:** In the Bandha-Udaya states, the Sattvasthana (state of being) is the basis for the Bandha-Sattvasthana (state of bondage), the Udayasthana (state of liberation) is the basis for the Udaya-Sattvasthana (state of liberation), and the Bandhasthana (state of bondage) is the basis for the Udaya-Sattvasthana. In this way, we should understand these three types of states by considering two states as the basis and one state as the object.

Now, we will discuss the Sattvasthana in the Bandha-Udaya states in the next six verses.

**Bavisena niruddhe dasachaurudaye dasaditanatiye.
Atthavisaati sattam sattudaye atthavisev. ||674||**

**Meaning:** A being with 22 Prakruti (fundamental principles) of Bandha (bondage) has four Udayasthana (states of liberation) with 10, 9, 8, and 17 Prakruti. In these three states with 10, 9, and 8 Prakruti, the Sattvasthana (state of being) is with 28, 27, and 26 Prakruti respectively. And in the Udayasthana with 7 Prakruti, the Sattvasthana is with 28 Prakruti.

**Igivisen niruddha navayatiye sattam atthavisev.
Sattarase navachadure adachautidugekaavinsasa. ||675||**

**Meaning:** A being with 21 Prakruti of Bandha has one Sattvasthana with 28 Prakruti when the three states with 9, 8, and 7 Prakruti attain liberation. And a being with 17 Prakruti of Bandha has five Sattvasthana with 28, 24, 23, 22, and 21 Prakruti when the four states with 9, 8, 7, and 6 Prakruti attain liberation.

There are some special features that we will discuss in the next two verses.

**Igivinsam na hi padhame charime tiduvisayam na teranave.
Adachausagachaurudaye sattam sattarasayam va have. ||676||**
