गोम्मटसार कर्मकाण्ड-५२८ पुनश्च इसीको स्पष्ट करते हैं
देवट्ठवीसबंधे देवगुतीससम्मि भंग चउसट्ठी।
देवुगुतीसे बंधे मणुवत्तीसेवि चउसट्ठी ।।५७३ ।। अर्थ- मनुष्य असंयतगुणस्थानमें देवगतिसहित २८ प्रकृतिका बन्ध करके देवगति और तीर्थङ्करसंयुक्त २९ प्रकृतिक स्थानका बध करता है तब दोनों स्थानोंके ८-८ भंगोंका परस्परमें गुणा करनेसे ६४ भंग होते हैं। पुन: असंयतमनुष्य तीर्थङ्कर व देवगतिसहित २९ प्रकृतिका बन्धकरके पश्चात् असंयतदेव या नारकी होकर तीर्थङ्कर और मनुष्यगतिसहित ३० प्रकृतिको बाँधता है तब भी ६४ ही भंग होते हैं।
तित्थयरसत्तणारयमिच्छो णरउणतीसबंधो जो।
सम्मम्मि तीसबंधो तियछक्कडछक्कचउभंगा ॥५७४।। अर्थ- तीर्थकरके सत्त्वसहित द्वितीय-तृतीय नरकके मिध्यादृष्टि नारकी मनुष्यगतिसहित २९ प्रकृतिके स्थानका ४६०८ भंगसे सहित बन्ध करता है पश्चात् सम्यक्त्वको प्राप्त करके तीर्थङ्कर व मनुष्यगतिसहित ३० प्रकृतिको बाँधता है अतः इसके ८ भंगोंका ४६०८ में गुणा करनेपर ४६०८४८३६,८६४ भंग होते हैं इनमें पूर्वगाथामें कथित १२८ भंगोंको जोड़ देनेसे असंयतगुणस्थानमें ३६,९९२ भुजकार होते हैं। अथानन्तर असंयत्तगुणस्थानके अल्पतर भंग कहते हैं
बावत्तरि अप्पदरा देवुगुतीसा दु णिरयअडवीसं।
बंधंत मिच्छभंगेणवगयतित्था हु पुणरुत्ता ।।५७५ ॥ अर्थ- जिसने पूर्व में नरकायुका बन्ध किया है ऐसा असंयतमनुष्य तीर्थरप्रकृतिका बन्ध प्रारम्भ करके तीर्थङ्कर और देवसहित २१ प्रकृतिका ८ भंगसहित बन्ध करता हुआ नरकगतिके सम्मुख होकर अन्तर्मुहूर्तके लिए मिथ्यादृष्टि होता है तब नरकगतिसहित २८ प्रकृतिका बन्ध करता है उसका एक भंग है इनको परस्परमें गुणा करने पर ८x१८ भंग जानना। तथा असंयतदेव या नारकी तीर्थकर व मनुष्यगतिसहित ३० प्रकृतिक स्थानको बाँधता है उसके ८ भंग हैं। पश्चात् वह मरणकर तीर्थङ्करप्रकृतिके सत्त्वसहित माताके गर्भमें उत्पन्न हुआ वहाँ तीर्थकर व देवसहित २९ प्रकृतिके स्थानको बाँधता है उसके भी ८ भंग होते हैं इनको परस्पर में गुणा करनेसे ८४८६४ भंग हुए। इनमें पूर्वोक्त ८ भंग मिलानेसे ६४+८-७२ अल्पतरभंग असंयतसम्बन्धी हैं। तीर्थङ्करसे रहित मनुष्यगतिसहित २९ प्रकृतिको बाँधकर

They then face the *narakagati* (hell realm) and become *mithyadrishti* for a moment. After that, they bind 28 *prakritis* including *narakagati*. This is one *bhang*. Multiplying these together, we get 8x18 *bhangas*.

Similarly, an *asanyata* deva or *naraki* binds 30 *prakritis* including *tirthankara* and *manushya* with 8 *bhangas*.
