Gommatasara Karmakanda-518
The soul ascending the stages of Anivrittikarana-guṇasthāna reaches the stage of Sūkṣmasāmparāya, and upon death, attains the state of Asaṃyata-deva. Ascending the stages of Upasāntakaṣāya-guṇasthāna, it reaches the stage of Anivrittikaraṇa, and upon death, attains the state of Asaṃyata-deva. Descending from the Upasāntakaṣāya-guṇasthāna, it reaches the stage of Sūkṣmasāmparāya, and upon death, attains the state of Asaṃyata-deva.
The soul ascending the Kṣapaka-śreṇī does not descend, so the one in the Apūrvakaraṇa-guṇasthāna attains the Anivrittikaraṇa-guṇasthāna, the Anivrittikaraṇa-vāla Sūkṣmasāmparāya, the Sūkṣmasāmparāya-guṇasthānavartī Kṣīṇakaṣāya, the Kṣāyikakaṣāya-guṇasthānavāla Sayogī-guṇasthāna, the Sayogī Ayogī-guṇasthāna, and the Ayogī Siddha-pada.
The Mithyādṛṣṭi-deva attains the Miśra and Asaṃyata-guṇasthāna, the Sāsādana-vāla Mithyātva, the Miśra-guṇasthānavartī Mithyātva and Asaṃyata-guṇasthāna, and the Asaṃyata-guṇasthānavāla Mithyātva-sāsādana and Miśra-guṇasthāna.
Now, it is said which souls do not attain death:
The souls in the Miśra-guṇasthāna, Āhārakarmiśrakāyayogī, Kṣapaka-śreṇī, ascending the Upasama-śreṇī in the first part of Apūrvakaraṇa-guṇasthāna, the first Upasama-samyaktva, and the second, third and fourth guṇasthānas of the seventh hell, do not attain death.
The soul that has renounced the Anantānubandhī does not attain death until the end of the antarmuhūrta, and the one destroying the Darśanamohanīya does not attain death until it becomes Kṛtakṛtya-vedaka.
Further, the meaningful words of all the previous places are said regarding the Baddha-āyuṣka-kṛtakṛtya-vedaka:
The birth in devas, gods, humans, celestial beings, and the four-gati is to be done gradually until the end of the antarmuhūrta.
