भंग हैं। देशसंयत गुणस्थान में जाकर वहाँ १३ प्रकृति का बन्ध दो प्रकार से है । इस अपेक्षा यहाँ भी अल्पतरबन्ध के बारह भंग जानना । अप्रमत्तगुणस्थान को प्राप्त होकर वहाँ ९ प्रकृति का बन्ध एक तरह से है अत: वहाँ अल्पतरबन्ध के ६ भंग हुए। इस प्रकार ये सर्व (१२+१२+६) ३० भंग अल्पतरबन्ध के हैं। आगे सासादन और मिश्रगुणस्थान में अल्पतरबन्ध नहीं है इसलिये शून्य कहा । असंयत गुणस्थान में १७ प्रकृति का लन्ध दो प्रकार से है। यहाँ से देशस्थान में जाकर वहाँ १३ प्रकृतियों का बन्ध दो प्रकार से करता है, इस अपेक्षा से अल्पतरबन्ध के चार भंग और अप्रमत्तगुणस्थान में जाकर वहाँ ९ प्रकृतियों का बन्ध एक प्रकार से करता है। इस अपेक्षा अल्पतरभंग दो हुए अतः ये ४+२=६ भंग जानना । पुनः देशसंयत में १३ प्रकृति का बन्ध दो प्रकार से है। यहाँ से अप्रमत्तगुणस्थान में जाकर वहाँ ९ प्रकृति का बन्ध एक प्रकार से करता है। इस अपेक्षा अल्पतरबंध के दो भंग हैं तथा प्रमत्तगुणस्थान में ९ प्रकृति बंध दो प्रकार से होता है। यहाँ से अप्रमत्तगुणस्थान में जाकर वहाँ ९ प्रकृति का बन्ध एक प्रकार से करता है, इस अपेक्षा भी दो अल्पतर भंग हैं ।
शंका- प्रमत्त अथवा अप्रमत्तगुणस्थान में जाकर ९ प्रकृतियों का बन्ध पाया जाता है, किन्तु यहाँ समान संख्या होने से अवस्थितबन्ध हो सकता है तो फिर यहाँ उसे अल्पतरबन्ध क्यों कह रहे
हो ?
समाधान- प्रमत्तगुणस्थान में अरति व शोक प्रकृति की बन्धव्युच्छित्ति होती है, इसी अपेक्षा से अल्पतरबन्ध होता है।
अप्रमत्तगुणस्थान से अपूर्वकरणगुणस्थान में जाता है। यहाँ दोनों में ही समान रूप से ९ प्रकृति का बन्ध है अत: यहाँ पर अल्पतरबन्ध नहीं होने से शून्य कहा है और अपूर्वकरणगुणस्थान में ९ प्रकृति का बन्ध एक प्रकार से है तथा अनिवृत्तिकरणगुणस्थान के प्रथम भाग में ५ प्रकृति का बन्ध एक प्रकार से है अत: अल्पतरबन्ध का यहाँ एक ही भंग है। अनिवृत्तिकरणगुणस्थान में ५ प्रकृति के बन्ध का एक प्रकार, पश्चात् चार प्रकृति के बन्ध का एक प्रकार होने से उसकी अपेक्षा एक अल्पतर भंग, ४ प्रकृति के बन्ध का एक प्रकार, बाद में ३ प्रकृति के बन्ध का एक प्रकार है उसकी अपेक्षा एक अल्पतरभंग, पुनः तीन प्रकृति के बन्ध का एक प्रकार पश्चात् दो प्रकृति के बन्ध का एक प्रकार है इसलिए यहाँ भी एक अल्पतरभंग एवं दो प्रकृति के बन्ध का एक प्रकार पश्चात् एक प्रकृति के बन्ध का एक प्रकार होने से यहाँ भी अल्पतर का एक भंग है। अनिवृत्तिकरणगुणस्थान के चरमभाग में एक प्रकृति का बन्ध करता है और यहाँ से सूक्ष्मसाम्परायगुणस्थान में जाकर वहाँ बन्ध का अभाव होने से वह अवक्तव्यबन्ध कहलाता है। इस प्रकार सर्व ३०+६+२+२+१+१+१+१+१=४५ अल्पतरबन्ध के भंग हैं।
आगे भंगविवक्षा से अवक्तव्यबन्ध के भंग व तीनों प्रकार के बन्धों की अपेक्षा अवस्थितबन्ध के भी भंग कहते हैं—
