Gommatsar Karmakanda - 451
In the Deshasanyata Gunasthana, the bondage of 13 Prakriti occurs in two ways. Accordingly, here also the 12 Bhanga of Alpatarabandha are to be known. After attaining the Apramattagunaasthana, the bondage of 9 Prakriti occurs in one way there, so 6 Bhanga of Alpatarabandha occurred there. Thus, these total (12+12+6) 30 Bhanga are of Alpatarabandha. Further, in Sasadana and Mishra Gunasthana, there is no Alpatarabandha, hence it is said to be zero.
In the Asanyata Gunasthana, the bondage of 17 Prakriti occurs in two ways. From here, on going to Deshasthan, the bondage of 13 Prakriti occurs in two ways, in this respect 4 more Bhanga of Alpatarabandha, and on going to Apramattagunaasthana, the bondage of 9 Prakriti occurs in one way there, in this respect 2 Alpatarabhangas occurred, so 4+2=6 Bhangas are to be known.
Again, in Deshasanyata, the bondage of 13 Prakriti occurs in two ways. From here, on going to Apramattagunaasthana, the bondage of 9 Prakriti occurs in one way there, in this respect 2 Alpatarabandha Bhangas are there, and in Pramattagunaasthana, the bondage of 9 Prakriti occurs in two ways. From here, on going to Apramattagunaasthana, the bondage of 9 Prakriti occurs in one way there, in this respect also 2 Alpatarabhangas are there.
Doubt: In Pramatta or Apramattagunaasthana, the bondage of 9 Prakriti is found, but since the number is the same here, Avasthitabandha can occur, then why is it called Alpatarabandha here?
Solution: In Pramattagunaasthana, the Bandhaavyucchitti (dissociation) of Arati and Shoka Prakriti occurs, it is in this respect that Alpatarabandha occurs.
From Apramattagunaasthana, one goes to Apurvakarana Gunasthana. Here, in both, the bondage of 9 Prakriti is equally, so there is no Alpatarabandha here, hence it is said to be zero, and in Apurvakarana Gunasthana, the bondage of 9 Prakriti is in one way, and in the first part of Anivrittikarana Gunasthana, the bondage of 5 Prakriti is in one way, so here there is only one Bhanga of Alpatarabandha.
In Anivrittikarana Gunasthana, the bondage of 5 Prakriti is in one way, then the bondage of 4 Prakriti is in one way, so in its respect there is one Alpatarabanga, the bondage of 4 Prakriti is in one way, then the bondage of 3 Prakriti is in one way, so in its respect there is one Alpatarabanga, again the bondage of 3 Prakriti is in one way, then the bondage of 2 Prakriti is in one way, so here also there is one Alpatarabanga, and the bondage of 2 Prakriti is in one way, then the bondage of 1 Prakriti is in one way, so here also there is one Alpatarabanga. In the last part of Anivrittikarana Gunasthana, the bondage of 1 Prakriti occurs, and on going from here to Sukshmasampara Gunasthana, the bondage does not occur there, so it is called Avaktavyabandha. In this way, there are a total of 45 Bhangas of Alpatarabandha.
Further, from the perspective of Bhangavivaksha, the Bhangas of Avaktavyabandha and the Bhangas of Avasthitabandha in respect of all three types of bondage are also told.
