Gommatasara Karmakanda-431 "Apakchapacanamudiraneti" The digestion (pacha) of unripe karmas for the purpose of udaya is udirana.
Upasamanā- Upasamanā is of two types- prashasta upasamanā and aprashasta upasamanā. The upasamanā of mohaniya karma by means of adhakarana, apurvakarana and anivrittikarana is prashasta upasamanā. At the time of bandha, aprashasta upasamanā occurs in some parts of all karmas. Here is its explanation. "Kamparamanuṇam bajjantarangakaranavaseṇ kettiaṇam pi udiranavaseṇ udayanagampainṇā apyasatthuvāsamanā ti bhaṇṇade" - That is, the non-occurrence of udaya due to udirana of some karma paramanus due to the cause of bahiranga-antaranga is called aprashasta upasamanā. "Appasatthuvāsamanāe jamuvasantan pade saggam tamokaddihuṁ pi sakvam, ukkaddi du pi sark, payaḍiae sanka miduṁ pi sakkaṁ udayavaliyam pave si, ṇo u sak." - That is, the part of the karma that is pacified by aprashasta upasamanā is capable of being apkarṣaṇa, utkarṣaṇa, and also capable of being transferred to another nature. It is not capable of being only entered into the udayavali. "Jam karma mokaḍukkadḍaṇaparapyaḍisanka maṇam pao ggam hoduṇ puno ṇo sakkamudaṣṭidimokaḍatuṁ udiranaviruḍḍasahaveṇ parinaḍattado tam taha viha paiṇṇāe paḍigahyam appasatth uvasamanāe uvasantami di bhaṇṇade. Tassa so pajjao appasatth uvasamanākaraṇ nāma." - That is, the karma that is capable of apkarṣaṇa, utkarṣaṇa, and transfer to another nature, but due to its nature being opposed to udirana, is not capable of being pacified in the state of dapasthiti, is called pacified by aprashasta upasamanā in that way. Its synonym is upasamanākaraṇa.
Nidhatti- "Jam pade sagga ṇo sakkamudae dadam aṇṇapyaḍi vā sanka medam tam nidhattam nāma." - That is, the karma that is not capable of being given in udaya or being transformed into another nature is called nidhatti. "Jam karma mokaḍukkadḍaṇāsu aviruḍḍasancaraṇam hoṭuṇ puno udayaparapyaḍisanka maṇam aṇagamanpaiṇṇāe paḍiggahiyam tassa so avasthavise so nidhattikaraṇami di bhaṇṇade." - That is, the karma that is capable of being transferred to apkarṣaṇa and utkarṣaṇa, but is not capable of being udaya or transfer to another nature, is called nidhattikaraṇa in that state. "Ja pade saggam nivatti kayam uda e daiṁ ṇo sanam, aṇṇapyaḍiṁ sanka midam pi ṇo sark, okaḍḍidumu kaḍḍidun ca sakaevaṁ vihassa pade saggassa nidhattami di saṇṇā." - That is, the karma that is nidhattikrita, that is, not capable of being given in udaya, and also not capable of being transferred to another nature, is called nidhatti in that way.
