अथ त्रिचूलिका अधिकार
अब त्रिचूलिकाधिकार कहने की प्रतिज्ञा करते हुए नमस्कारात्मक मङ्गल करते हैंअसहायजितरिंदे असहायपरक्कमे महावीरे ।
पणमिय सिरसा वोच्छं, तिचूलियं सुणह एयमणा ।। ३९८ ।।
अर्थ- इन्द्रियादिक की सहायता से रहित है ज्ञानादि शक्ति रूप पराक्रम जिनका ऐसे महावीर प्रभु और शेष वृषभादि तीर्थकर जिनेन्द्र देवों को सिरसा नमस्कार करके मैं (नेमिचन्द्राचार्य) त्रिचूलिकाधिकार कहूँगा सो भव्यजीवो ! तुम एकाग्रचित्त होकर सुनो।
विशेषार्थ- जिसमें कथित अथवा अकथित या विशेषतापूर्वक नहीं कहे हुए अर्थ का चिन्तन किया जाता है वह चूलिका कहलाती है।
सूत्र द्वारा सूचित अर्थ का विशेष वर्णन करना चूलिका है। जिससे अर्थप्ररूपणा किये जाने पर पूर्व में वर्णित पदार्थ के विषय में शिष्यों को निश्चय उत्पन्न हो उसे चूलिका कहते हैं ऐसा अभिप्राय है। ' अन्यत्र भी कहा है
सूत्र में सूचित अर्थ को प्रकाशित करना चूलिका है।' अनुयोग द्वारों से सूचित अर्थों की विशेष प्ररूपणा करना चूलिका है। किसी पदार्थ के विशेष व्याख्यान को, कथित विषय में जो अनुक्तविषय हैं उनको अथवा उक्त अनुक्तविषय से मिले हुए कथन को चूलिका कहते हैं।
यहाँ पर नव प्रश्न, पञ्चभागहार, दशकरण इन तीन विषयों का चिन्तन किया जावेगा अतः इस अधिकार का नाम त्रिचूलिका है।
