२ (नरकायु व मनुष्यायु) | (भुज्यमान तिर्थञ्चायु अपेक्षा)
सामान्य तिर्यंच, पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यंच, योनिमतितिर्यंच, पर्याप्ततिर्यंच, लब्ध्यपर्याप्ततिर्यंच में भी सत्त्व इसी प्रकार जानना, किन्तु विशेषता यह है कि लब्ध्यपर्याप्त तिर्यंच में नरक-देवायु का सत्त्व नहीं है अत: सत्त्व १४५ प्रकृति का है। ण हि सासणो अपुण्णे इत्यादि वचनों से लब्ध्यपर्याप्तकतिर्यंच के सासादनगुणस्थान नहीं है इसलिए एकमात्र मिथ्यात्वगुणस्थान ही है। शेष चार प्रकार के तिर्यंचों में ५५ गुणस्थान हैं।
मनुष्यगति में सामान्यमनुष्य, पर्याप्तमनुष्य और मनुष्यनी में गुणस्थानवत् सर्व कथन है, किन्तु मनुष्यनी के क्षपकश्रेणी में विशेषता यह है कि क्षपकश्रेणी में स्थित मनुष्यनी के तीर्थङ्करप्रकृति का सत्त्व नहीं है, क्योंकि तीर्थङ्करप्रकृति की सत्तावाला अर्थात् सम्यग्दृष्टि जीव मनुष्यनियों में उत्पन्न नहीं होता है
