त्रिकोणयन्त्र का जोड़ देने पर जो प्रमाण हो उतने प्रमाण सत्ता जीव के सदाकाल रहती है। अब जोड़ने का विधान कहते हैं
त्रिकोण यंत्र की चरम गुणहानि में चरम निषेक ९ हैं। उसके नीचे द्विचरम निषेक दो हैं ९, १० । इसी तरह त्रिचरम निषेक तीन हैं ९/१०/११ । इस प्रकार एक-एक अधिक के क्रम से प्रथम निषेक में नाना समयप्रबद्धों से प्रतिबद्ध निषेक गुणहानि प्रमाण होते हैं ९/१०/११/१२/१३/१४/१५/१६ । यहाँ जोड़ने के लिए सबको चरम निषेक ९ के समान करने के लिए नीचे-नीचे के निषेकों में स्थित अन्तिम गुणहानि के पयों को पृथक् करके उसे अपनी भाभी मला विक संख्या के पास में स्थापित करो।
__ अत: अन्तिमगुणहानि का अन्तिमनिषेक ९ लिखकर उसके आगे एक-एक अधिक गुणकार ९, ऐसी एक पंक्ति करनी और दूसरी पंक्ति के अन्त में शून्य लिखना। पश्चात् सङ्कलनरूप प्रमाण लिखना | यहाँ अंतिम गुणहानि की दो पंक्तियाँ इस प्रकार हैं -

यहाँ ९४१-९ यह प्रथम जोड़ है तथा ९४२१८,१४१-१ इन दोनों को मिलाने से १८+१=१९,सो ९ और १०-१९। ९४३=२७,३४१-३ इन दोनों के मिलने से २७+३=३०, सो ९+१०+११ का जोड़ ३० इसप्रकार जोड़ करने पर अन्त में ९४८-७२ और २८४१-२८ इनको मिलाने से ७२+२८-१००सो अन्तिम गुणहानि के सर्वनिषेकों का योग १०० हुआ।
