मझे जीवा बहुगा, उभयत्थ विसेसहीणकमजुत्ता। हेट्टिमगुणहाणिसलादुवरि सलागा विसेसऽहिया ॥२४४॥ दव्वतियं हेढुवरिमदलवारा दुगुणमुभयमण्णोण्णं । जीवजवे चोद्दससयबावीसं होदि बत्तीसं ॥२४५।। चत्तारि तिण्णि कमसो, पण अड अटुं तदो य बत्तीसं ।
किंचूणतिगुणहाणिविभजिदे दो दु जवमझं ॥२४६।। अर्थ : जीवों के प्रमाणरूप यवरचनाके बीच में जीव बहुत हैं। ऊपर तथा नीचे क्रम से विशेष हीनरूप कम-कम हैं। अधस्तनगुणहानिशलाकासे उपरितनगुणहानिशलाका विशेष अधिक है।।२४४॥
द्रव्य के तीन अनुयोगद्वार हैं-जीवों का प्रमाण,योगस्थान-अध्वान और गुणहानिआयाम। इनमें से उपरितन और अधस्तम गुणहानि-गुणहानिप्रति द्रव्य दुगुने-दुगुने होते चले गए हैं,किन्तु दोनों ओर के द्रव्यका प्रमाण भिन्न-भिन्न है। अङ्कसन्दृष्टि में यवमध्यके सर्वजीवों का प्रमाण १४२२ है तथा योगस्थानअध्वान ३२ हैं और एकगुणहानिआयाम ४ है। अधस्तननानागुणहानि ३, उपरितननानागुणहानि ५ इस प्रकार सर्वनानागुणहानि ८, अधस्तनअन्योन्याभ्यस्तराशि २४२४२-८ और उपरितनअन्योन्याभ्यस्तराशि
