माया ७१८-७१६ क्यों नहीं उत्पन्न होता है ?
समाधान – नहीं, क्योंकि जो प्रायु कर्म का वध करते समय मिथ्यादृष्टि थे और जिन्होंने तदनन्तर सम्यग्दर्शन ग्रहमा किया है, ऐसे जीवों की नरकादिगति में उत्पनि को रोकने का सामर्थ्य सम्यग्दर्शन में नहीं है।
शङ्का-सम्यग्दृष्टि जीवों को जिम प्रकार नरकगति में उत्पत्ति होती है, उसी प्रकार देवों में क्यों नहीं होती है ?
समाधान-यह ठीक है, क्योंकि यह तो हमें इप्ट ही है । शंका-तो फिर भवनवासी प्रादि में भी असंयत सम्यक्त्वी की उत्पत्ति प्राप्त हो जायेगी?
समाधान-नहीं, क्योंकि जिन्होंने पहले आयुकर्म का बन्ध किया है ऐसे जीवों के सम्यग्दर्शने का उस-उस गनि सम्बन्धी आयु सामान्य के साथ विरोध न होते हुए भी उस-उस गति सम्बन्धी विशेष में उत्पत्ति के साथ विरोध पाया जाता है । ऐसी अवस्था में भवनवासी, व्यन्त रवासी, ज्योतिषी, प्रकीर्णक, आभियोग्य और मिल्लिषिक देवों में, नीचे की ६ पृथिवियों में, सब स्त्री म, प्रथम नारक विमा सब नपुसकों में, विकलत्रय में, स्थावरों में. लब्ध्वपर्याप्तकों में व कर्मभूमिजतिर्यचों में असंयत मम्यक्त्वी के साथ उत्पत्ति में विरोध सिद्ध हो जाता है।'
सारतः सम्यक्त्वी नरतियंच मरकर भवनत्रिक देवों व सब देवियों में उत्पन्न नहीं होते, अतः वहाँ असंयत में एक पर्याप्नानाप ही सम्भव है।

विशेषार्थ - मिश्रगुणस्थान अन्तिमवेयकपर्यन्न सम्भव है। अत: वहाँ तक के अहमिन्द्रों के मिश्रगुरणस्थानों में नियम से पर्याप्त ग्रालाप ही होता है। पर ऊपर सव सम्यक्त्वी ही होते है क्योंकि यहां पर सभी के एकमात्र अविरत सम्यग्दृष्टि गुणस्थान है।" ऐमा प्रागम-वचन है । अत: उनके असंयत गुणस्थान में तीन बालाप बन जाते हैं।'
