प्रतिशङ्का यदि ऐसा है तो संगम में भी
दोपस्थापना परिहारविशुद्धि सूक्ष्मसाम्पराय और यथास्यात इन पांच प्रकार के विशेषसंयमों के साथ और देशबिरति के साथ भी अवधिज्ञान की उत्पत्ति का व्यभिचार देखा जाता है, इसलिए अवधिज्ञान की उत्पत्ति संयमविशेष के निमित्त से होती है। यह भी तो नहीं कह सकते हैं, क्योंकि सम्यग्दर्शन और संयम इन दोनों को अवधिज्ञान की उत्पत्ति में निमित्त मानने पर आक्षेप और परिहार समान है ।
प्रतिशङ्का का समाधान - प्रसंख्यात लोकप्रमाण संयमरूप परिणामों में कितने ही विशेष जाति के परिणाम अवधिज्ञान की उत्पत्ति के कारण होते हैं, इसलिए पूर्वोक्त दोष नहीं प्राता है।
शङ्का का समाधान- यदि ऐसा है तो असंख्यात लोकप्रमाा सम्यग्दर्शन रूप परिणामों दूसरे सहकारी कारणों की अपेक्षा से युक्त होते हुए कितने ही विशेष जाति के सम्यक्त्वरूप परिणाम प्रवविज्ञान की उत्पत्ति में कारण हो जाते हैं। यह बात निश्चित हो जाती है ।"
मन:पर्ययजानी जीव प्रमत्तसंयत से लेकर क्षीणकषाय वीतराग-द्यस्थ गुरणस्थान नक होते हैं ।। १२१ ॥ ३
शङ्का - देशविरत प्रादि नीचे के गुणस्थानवर्ती जीवों के मन:पर्ययज्ञान क्यों नहीं होता ? समाधान- नहीं, क्योंकि संयमासंयम और संयम के साथ मन:पर्ययजान की उत्पत्ति का
विरोध है ।
शङ्क। -- यदि संगममात्र मन:पर्ययज्ञान की उत्पत्ति का कारण है तो समरन संग्रामियों के क्यों नहीं होता ?
समाधान यदि केवल संयम हो मन:पर्ययज्ञान की उत्पत्ति का कारण होता तो ऐसा भी होता. किन्तु मन:पर्ययज्ञान की उत्पत्ति के अन्य भी कारण हैं, इसलिए उन दूसरे हेतु क न रहने से समस्त संयतों के मन:पर्ययज्ञान उत्पन्न नहीं होता है ।
शङ्का - वे दूसरे कौन से कारण हैं ?
समाधान विशेष जाति के द्रव्य, क्षेत्र और कालादि ग्रन्य कारणा हैं, जिनके बिना भो संयमियों के मन:पर्ययज्ञान उत्पन्न नहीं होता है ।
केवलज्ञानी जीव सयोगिकेवली, योगिकेवली और सिद्ध इन तीन स्थानों में होते हैं ।। १२२ ।
शङ्का - प्ररिहन्त परमेष्ठी के केवलज्ञान नहीं है, क्योंकि वहाँ पर नोइन्द्रियावरण कर्म के क्षयोपशम से उत्पन्न हुए मन का सद्भाव पाया जाता है ?
