भाग सासादन सम्यग्दृष्टियों की इच्छित राशि है । इससे संख्यातगुणे मिश्र ( सम्यग्मिथ्यादृष्टि ) जीव हैं। इन सबसे विहीन संसारी जीव मिध्यादृष्टियों का प्रभार है ।। ६५९ ॥

विशेषार्थ-वेदक सम्यग्दष्टियों का अवहारकाल आवली के असंख्यातवें भाग है । क्षायिक सम्यग्दष्टियों का अवहारकाल संख्यात आावली है। उपशम सम्यग्दृष्टि, सासादन और सम्परिमध्यादृष्टि जीवों का अवहार काल श्रसंख्यात श्रावली है। इनमें भी सासादनसम्यग्दृष्टि जीव सबमें स्तोक हैं। उनसे सम्यग्मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव संख्यातगुणे हैं, संख्यात समय गुणाकार है । इनसे उपशम सम्यग्दृष्टि असंख्यात गुणे हैं, आवली का असंख्यातवाँ भाग गुणाकार है । उपशम सम्यग्दृष्टियों से क्षायिक सम्यग्दृष्टि असंख्यातगुणे हैं, आवली का प्रसंख्यातवाँ भाग गुणाकार है । क्षायिक सम्यग्दृष्टियों से वेदक सम्यग्दृष्टि असंख्यातगुणे हैं। इनसे सिद्ध अनन्तगुणे हैं। सिद्धों से मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव अनन्त गुणे हैं |२
शंका-यवहार काल कहा गया है, प्रमाण (संख्या) क्यों नहीं कहा गया ?
समाधान अपने-अपने अवहार काल को पल को भाग देने पर अपनी पनी राशि का प्रमाण प्राप्त हो जाता है । इस प्रकार अबहार कहने से प्रमाण (संख्या) का जान हो जाता है ।
शङ्का - सासादन सम्यग्दष्टि जीव कितने हैं, यह न बतलाकर मात्र 'सासादन जीव सबसे स्तोक हैं' यह कह दिया गया । इतने मात्र से प्रमाण ज्ञान नहीं होता ।
समाधान सासादन सम्यग्दष्टि जीवों का अवहार काल असंख्यात प्रावली है, इस अवहार काल से पल्य को भाजित करने पर प्रसंख्यात प्राप्त होता है, इससे ज्ञात होता है कि सासादन जीव श्रसंख्यात हैं ।
शङ्का -- सासादन सम्यग्दष्टि सम्यरिमध्यादृष्टि और उपशम सम्यग्दृष्टि जीवों का एक ही अवहारकाल असंख्यात मावली प्रमारण बतलाया है। जिससे जाना जाता है कि इन तीनों की संख्या समान है ।
समाधान- श्रसंख्यात के श्रसंख्यात भेद हैं। यद्यपि सामान्य से तीनों का प्रवहारकाल प्रसंख्यात प्रावली कह दिया गया तथापि उनके अवहार काल भिन्न-भिन्न हैं । सासादन के अवहार काल का संख्यात्तत्र भाग सम्यग्मिथ्यादृष्टि जीवों का अवहार काल है और उसका भी असंख्यातवाँ भाग उपशम सम्यग्दृष्टियों का अबहार काल है ।
इस प्रकार गोम्मटसार जीवकाण्ड में सम्यक्त्वमार्गणा नामक सत्रहवाँ अधिकार पूर्ण हुआ।
