चदुगदिभथ्यो सो पज्जत्तो सुज्झगो य सागारो ।

सम्यक्त्वमार्गणा / ७१५
सल्लेसो सलद्धिगो सम्ममुवगमई ।। ६५२।।
गाथार्थ - चारों गति का भव्य, संज्ञी पर्याप्त, विशुद्ध, साकार उपयोगी, जागृत, प्रशस्त लेण्या वाला और नन्धि संयुक्त जीव सम्यक्त्व को प्राप्त करता है ।। ६५२ ।
विशेषार्थ - नारकी, तिर्यंच, मनुष्य और देव इन चारों गतियों के जीवों में से किसी भी गति का जीव दर्शनमोहनीय कर्म को उपशमाता है। कहा भी है
सरणमोहस्सुवसामश्रो वु चदुसु वि गवीसु बोद्धध्वो । पंचिदिश्रो य सण्णी नियमा सो होदि पज्जसो |१९५ ।। '
"उवसामेतो कहि उवसामेदि ? चसु वि, गयीसु उवसामेवि । चदुसु वि गदीसु उवसामेंतो विएस उवसामेदि, गो एइंडिय - विगलविषु पचिरिए व्यसाराती उपसा जो सणी | सणीसु उवसामेतो गम्भावेषकं लिए उवसामेवि, गो सम्मुच्छिमेसु । गम्भोवतिएसु जवसामेंतो पज्जत्तएसु उक्सामेदि, गो श्रपज्जत्तएसु । पज्जसएसु उवसामेंतो संवेज्जवरसाउगेसु वि उवसामेदि, प्रसंखेज्जवत्सासु वि || ||
-- दर्शनमोहनीय कर्म को उपणमाता हुआ यह चारों ही गतियों में उपशमाता है। चारों ही गतियों में उपशमाता हुआ पंचेन्द्रियों में उपशमाता है, एकेन्द्रियों और विकलेन्द्रियों में नहीं। पंचेन्द्रियों में उपमाता हुआ संज्ञियों में उपण माता है, असंजियों में नहीं । संज्ञियों में उपशमाता हुआ गर्भोपान्तिकों में, अर्थात् गर्भज जीवों में उपशमाता है, सम्मूच्मिों में नहीं। गर्भो क्रान्तिकों में उपशमाता हुआ पर्याप्तकों में उपशमाता है, अपर्याप्तकों में नहीं। पर्याप्तकों में उपशमाता हुआ संख्यात वर्ष की आयु वाले जीवों में भी उपशमाता है और असंख्यात वर्ष की आयु वाले जीवों में भी उपशमाता है । लब्ध्यपर्याप्त और निर्वृत्यपर्याप्त अवस्था को छोड़कर नियम से निवृत्ति पर्याप्त जीव ही प्रथम सम्यक्त्व की उत्पत्ति के योग्य होता है ।
सम्वरिय भरणेसु दोष-समुद्दे गह- जोदिसि विमारले । अभिजोगमभिजग्गे उवसामो होइ बोद्धव्व ॥६६॥३
--सूत्र नरकों में रहने वाले नारकियों में सब भवनों में रहने वाले भवनवासी देवों में, सब द्वीपों और समुद्रों में विद्यमान संजी पंचेन्द्रिय पर्याप्त तिर्यंचों में ढाई द्वीप- समुद्रों में रहने वाले मनुष्यों में, सब व्यन्तरावासों में रहनेवाले व्यन्तर देवों में, सब ज्योतिष्क देवों में विमानों में रहनेवाले नौ ग्रैवेयक तक के देवों में तथा ग्रभियोग्य और अनभियोग्य देवों में दर्शनमोहनीय का उपशम होता है ।
