शङ्का – पारिणामिक का क्या अभिप्राय है ?
समाधान --- एक अवस्था से दूसरी अवस्था को प्राप्त कराना पारिणामिक है। जैसे अधिक मीठे रस वाला गीला गुड़, उस पर पड़ी हुई धूलि को अपने गुणरूप से परिरणमाने के कारण पारिणामिक होता है, उसी प्रकार अधिक गुणवाला अन्य भी यल्प गुग्गावाले का पारिणामिक होता है । इससे पूर्व अवस्थाओं का त्याग होकर उनसे भिन्न एक तीसरी अवस्था उत्पन्न होती है | अतः उनमें एकरूपता आ जाती है ।" बन्ध होने पर एक तीसरी ही विलक्षण प्रवस्था होकर एक स्कन्ध बन जाता है। द्वित्व का त्यागकर एकत्व की प्राप्ति का नाम बंध है । एकीभाव का नाम बन्ध है । ४

गाथार्थ - काल में प्रदेश प्रचय नहीं है, अतः काल के अतिरिक्त शेष पाँच द्रव्यों को पंचास्तिकाय संज्ञा दी गई है || ६२० ||
विशेषार्थ -"पुद्गलाणोरुपचारतो नानाप्रवेशत्वम्, न च कालागोः स्निग्धरूक्षत्वाभावात् ऋजुत्वाच्च ।।१७०१।” [ श्रालापपद्धति ] उपचार से पुद्गल परमाणु के नाना प्रदेश स्वभाव है क्योंकि वह बंध को प्राप्त हो जाता है किन्तु कालाणु के उपचार से भी नानाप्रवेशत्व भाव नहीं है क्योंकि कालाणु में बन्ध के कारण स्निग्ध-रूक्ष गुण का प्रभाव है तथा वह स्थिर है क्योंकि निष्क्रिय है ।
शङ्का - जैसे द्रव्य रूप से एक पुद्गल परमाणु के द्वि-अणुक आदि स्कन्ध पर्याय द्वारा बहुप्रदेश रूप कायत्व है, ऐसे ही द्रव्य रूप से एक होने पर भी कालाणु के पर्याय द्वारा कायत्व क्यों नहीं कहा गया ?
समाधान- नहीं, क्योंकि स्निग्ध- रूक्ष गुरण के कारण होने वाले बन्ध का कालद्रव्य में प्रभाव है इसलिए वह काय नहीं हो सकता । "

**Doubt:** What is the meaning of Parinamika?

**Solution:** To achieve a different state from one state is Parinamika. For example, wet jaggery with a sweet taste, due to its quality, transforms the dust that falls on it, making it Parinamika. Similarly, other things with more qualities become Parinamika for those with fewer qualities. This results in the abandonment of previous states and the emergence of a third, different state. Therefore, there is uniformity among them. When there is Bandha, a third unique state arises, becoming a Skandha. The abandonment of duality and the attainment of unity is called Bandha. Unity is called Bandha.

**Gatha 620:** There is no Pradesh Prachaya in Kala, therefore, except for Kala, the remaining five Dravyas are called Panchaastikaya.
