योग और केवल कपाय के कार्य से भिन्न संसार की वृद्धि रूप कार्य की उपलब्धि होती है जो केवल योग और केवल कषाय का कार्य नहीं कहा जा सकता, इसलिए लेश्या उन दोनों से भिन्न है, यह बात सिद्ध हो जाती है ।
शङ्खा संसार की वृद्धि का हेतु लेश्या है, ऐसी प्रतिज्ञा करने पर जो लिप्त करती है वह लेश्या है' इस वचन के साथ विरोध आता है ।
समाधान- नहीं, क्योंकि कर्मलेप की अविनाभावी होने रूप से संसार की वृद्धि को भी लेण्या ऐसी संज्ञा देने से कोई विरोध नहीं आता है । अतः इन दोनों से पृथग्भूत लेश्या है, यह बात निश्चित हो जाती है ।"
शङ्का - यदि बन्ध के कारणों को ही लेश्या कहा जाता है तो प्रमाद को भी लेश्या भाव क्यों न मान लिया जाय ?
समाधान- नहीं, क्योंकि प्रमाद का कषाय में हो अन्तर्भाव हो जाता है ।
शङ्का - असंयम को भी लेश्या भाव क्यों नहीं मानते ? २

समाधान- मिथ्यात्व को लेश्या कह सकते हैं, क्योंकि उसमें कोई विरोध नहीं श्राता । किन्तु यहाँ कषायों का ही प्राधान्य है । क्योंकि कषाय ही हिंसादि रूप लेश्या कर्म के कारण हैं और अन्य ara - कारणों में उनका प्रभाव है ।
अथवा मिध्यात्व संगम, कषाय और योग लेग्या हैं। प्रथवा मिध्यात्व, संयम, कषाय और योग से उत्पन्न हुए जीव के संस्कार भावलेश्या हैं ।" कर्मपुद्गल के ग्रहण में कारणभूत मिथ्यात्व श्रसंयम और कषाय से अनुरंजित योग प्रवृत्ति नोश्रागमभाव लेश्या है। अभिप्राय यह है कि मिथ्यात्व, कपाय और असंयम से उत्पन्न संस्कार का नाम नोश्रागमभाव लेश्या है । "
