हजारों बार परिवर्तन करके तदनन्तर एक बार माया रूप परिवर्तन होता है, क्योंकि नारकी जीव अत्यन्त दोषबहुल होते हैं, इसलिए उनमें क्रोध और मान की प्रचुरता पाई जाती है। इस प्रकार पुनः पुनः परिवर्तन होने पर मायारूप परिवर्तन भी संख्यात हजार बार हो जाते हैं तब विसरश परिपाटी के अनुसार एक बार लोभ सम्बन्धी परिवर्तनबार होता है । माया सम्बन्धी प्रत्येक परिवर्तनबार जांध और मान के संख्यात हजार परिवर्तनबारों का अविनाभावी है। इस प्रकार माया सम्बन्धी संख्यात हजार परिवर्तन बारों के होने के पश्चात् एक बार लोभ रूप से परिणामता है।
शङ्का - ऐसा किस कारण से होता है ?
समाधान-अत्यन्त पापबहुल नरकगति में प्रेयस्वरूप लोभ परिणाम अत्यन्त दुर्लभ है। इस प्रकार यह क्रम अपनों विवक्षित स्थिति के अन्तिम समय तक चलता रहता है। इसकी संदृष्टि इस प्रकार है-नरक गति में संख्यात वर्ष की आयु वाले भव में या असंख्यात वर्ष की आयु वाले भव में क्रोध-मान ११०० पुनः क्रोध-मान २२० ० इस प्रकार के संख्यात हजार परिवर्तनबारों के हो जाने पर अन्तिम बार में क्रोध होकर मान का उल्लंघन कर एक बार माया रूप परिवर्तन होता है । उसको संदृष्टि यह है -३ २ १ ०। फिर भी इसी पूर्वोक्त विधि से ही क्रोध मान इस प्रकार संख्यात हजार परिवर्तन वारों के हो जाने पर पुनः अन्तिम बार में क्रोध होकर मान का उल्लंबन कर मायारूप एक बार परिवर्तन करता है। इसकी संरष्टि ३ २ १ ०। फिर भी इसी पूर्वोक्त विधि से संख्यात हजार माया सम्बन्धी परिवर्तनबारों के भी समाप्त हो जाने पर उसके अनन्तर जो परिपाटी होती है उसमें क्रोध होकर मान व माया का उल्लंघन कर एक वार लोभ रूप में परिणमता है। उसकी संदृष्टि ३ २ ० १ है। फिर भी इसी विधि से ३३ : माया परिवर्तन बारों के संख्यात हजार बार परिवर्तित होने पर पुनः क्रोध होकर तथा मान और माया का उल्लंघन कर एक बार लोभ रूप से परिगमता है। उसकी संदृष्टि ३ २ ० १ है। फिर भी इसी क्रम से ३ : माया के परिवर्तन बारों के संख्यात हजार बार हो जाने पर एक बार लोभ परिणमता है। उसकी संदृष्टि ३ २ ० १ है। इस प्रकार पहले प्राप्त हुई आयु के अन्तिम समय तक जानना चाहिए। यहाँ क्रोध, मान, माया और लोभ के परिवर्तन बारों का पुरा योग-क्रोध २७, मान १८, माया ६, लोभ ३ ।।

इस प्ररूपणा के अनुसार एक ग्रहण में नरव गति में संख्यात वर्षवाले भव में या असंख्यात वर्ष वाले भव में लोभ के परिवर्तनबार सबसे स्लोक हैं। क्योंकि नरकगति में लोभ के परिवर्तन बार अत्यन्त विरल पाये जाते हैं। उससे माया कषाय के परिवर्तन यार संख्यातगुगों हैं, क्योंकि लोभ के एका-एक परिवर्तन बार में माया के परिवर्तन बार संख्यात हजार होते हैं। उनसे मान कषाय के परिवर्तनबार संख्यातगुण हैं क्योंकि माया के एक-एक परिवर्तनबार में मान के परिवर्तनबार संख्यात हजार होते हैं। उनसे क्रोध के परिवर्तनबार विशेष अधिक हैं विशेष का प्रमाण अपना संख्यातवाँ भाग है। मान के परिवर्तनबारों से लोभ और माया के परिवर्तनमात्र विशेष अधिक हैं।
