पणं कोडिसहस्सा, सव्वंगीणं कुलाणं य ॥११॥ गाथार्थ-पृथ्वीकायिक की २२ लाख, जलकायिक सी १७ लाख, अग्निकायिक की ३ लाख और वायुकायिक की ७ लाख कुलकोटि है ।।११३।। द्वीन्द्रियों की ७ लाख, श्रीन्द्रियों की प्राठ लाख, । चतुरिन्द्रियों को ६ लाख वनस्पतिकायिकों की २८ लास्त्र कुलकोटि है ।।११४॥ जलचरों की साढ़े । बारह लाख कुलकोटि, पक्षियों की बारह लाख कुलकोटि, चतुष्पद पशुओं की १० लाख कुलकोटि, परिसपों (छाती के सहारे चलने वालों) की हलाख कुलकोटि है ।।११।। देवों की २६ लाख, नारकियों की २५ लाख और मनुष्यों की १२ लाख कुलकोटि ज्ञातव्य है ॥११६।। सर्व जीवों के कुलों की संख्या एक कोडाकोड़ो सत्तानवे लाख पचास हजार कोटि है ॥११७॥
विशेषार्य--उक्त पाँच गाथाएँ मूलाचार के पंचाचार अधिकार तथा पर्याप्ति अधिकार में भी पाई हैं। उनमें मनुष्यों की १४ लाख कुलकोटि कहीं है और सर्वजीवों की एक सौ साढ़े निन्यानवे लाख कुलकोटि है । किन्तु गोम्मटसार व प्राचारसार में मनुष्यों की १२ लाख कुलकोटि कही है और सब जीवों की १६७३ लाख कुलकोटि कही है । इस समय श्रुतकेवली का अभाव है, अतः यह निर्णय नहीं हो सकता कि इन दोनों में से किस संख्या को ग्रहण करना चाहिए ।
