जीवसमास/१३५ पंचक्खतिरिक्खायो गब्भजसम्मुच्छिमा तिरिवखारणं । भोगभुमा गन्भभवा, परपुण्णा गब्भजा चेव ।।६।। उववादगम्भजेसु य, लद्धिअपज्जतगा खणियमेण । गरसम्मुच्छिमजीवा, लद्धि प्रपज्जत्तगा चेव ॥१२॥
गाथार्थ देव और नारकियों का उपपादजन्म होता है। मनुष्य और तिर्यंचों के गर्भ व । सम्मूर्छन जन्म होता है । एकेन्द्रिय, विकलेन्द्रिय और अपर्याप्त मनुष्यों का सम्मूच्र्छन जन्म ही होता
है॥६० ।। पंचेन्द्रिय तिथंचों का जन्म गर्भज भी होता है और सम्मूर्छन भी होता है । भोगभूमिया तियंचों का जन्म गर्भज ही होता है । पर्याप्त मनुष्यों का जन्म गर्भज ही है ।।६१|| उपपाद जन्म में और गर्भजन्म में नियम से लब्ध्यपर्याप्तक नहीं होते। सम्मुर्छन मनुष्य लब्ध्यपर्याप्तक ही होते है ।।६२॥
विशेषार्थ-देव और नारकी औपपादिक ही होते हैं। नरक बिलों में रहने वाले जीव नारको ही होते हैं। कहा भी है--"देवनारकारणामुपपादः" अर्थात् देव और नारकियों का उपपाद जन्म ही होता है, अन्य जन्म नहीं होता। मनुष्य व तिथंच गर्भज भी होते हैं और सम्मूर्छन भी होते हैं। अपर्याप्त-[लब्ध्यपर्याप्त मनुष्य सम्मूर्छन ही होते हैं। एकेन्द्रिय जीव व विकलेन्द्रिय (द्वीन्द्रिय, श्रीन्द्रिय, चतुरिन्द्रिय) नियम से सम्मूच्र्द्धन होते हैं। पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यच गर्भज भी होते हैं, सम्मूर्छन भी होते हैं, किन्त तियंचों में भोगभमिया गर्भज ही होते हैं। "गरपुण्णा" अर्थात पर्याप्त मनष्य भी गर्भज ही होते हैं। उपपाद जन्म वालों में अर्थात देव-नारकियों में तथा गर्भज मनुष्य-तिर्यचों में, विशिष्ट तिर्यचमनुष्यों में नियम से लब्ध्यपर्याप्तक नहीं होते । सम्मूर्च्छन मनुष्य नियम से लब्ध्यपर्याप्त क ही
