आदिपुराणम्
मालिनी परिचितयतिहंसो धर्मवृष्टिं निषिञ्चन्
नमसि कृतनिवेशो निर्मलस्तुङ्गवृत्तिः । फलमविकलमग्र्यं मन्यसस्येषु कुर्वन्
व्यहरदखिलदेशान् शारदो वा स मेघः ॥३९ ।।
पृथ्वी विहृत्य सुचिरं विनेयजनतोपकृत्स्वायुषो,
मुहूर्तपरिमास्थितौ विहितसक्रियो विच्युतौ। तनुत्रितयबन्धनस्य गुणसारमूर्तिः स्फुरन्
जगत्त्रयशिखामणिः सुखनिधिः स्वधाम्नि स्थितः ॥३१८॥
वसन्ततिलका सर्वेऽपि ते वृषभसेनमुनीशमुख्याः
सौख्यं गताः सकलजन्तुषु शान्तचित्ताः । कालक्रमेण यमशीलगुणाभिपूर्णा
निर्वाणमापुरमितं गुणिनो गणीन्द्राः ॥३९९॥
शार्दूलविक्रीडितम् यो नेतेव पृथु जघान दुरितारातिं चतुस्साधनो
येनाप्तं कनकाश्मनेव विमलं रूपं स्वमाभास्वरम् । आभेजुश्चरणौ सरोजजयिनौ यस्यालिनो वाऽमरा
स्तं त्रैलोक्यगुरुं पुरुं श्रितवतां श्रेयांसि वः स क्रियात् ॥१०॥
शार्दूलविक्रीडितम् । योऽभूत्पञ्चदशो विभुः कुलभृतां तीथें शिनां चाग्रिमो
दृष्टो येन मनुष्यजीवन विधिमुक्तश्च मार्गो महान् । बोधो रोधविमुक्तवृत्तिरखिलो यस्योदपायन्तिमः
स श्रीमान् जनकोऽखिलावनिपतेरायः" स दद्याच्छियम् ॥१०॥ नहीं है अर्थात् सभी वस्तुएँ उसे साध्य हैं ॥३९६॥ मुनिरूपी हंस जिनसे परिचित हैं, जो धर्मकी वर्षा करते रहते हैं, जो आकाशमें निवास करते हैं, निर्मल हैं, उत्तमवृत्तिवाले हैं (पक्षमें ऊंचे स्थानपर विद्यमान रहते हैं) और जो भव्य जीवरूपी धानोंमें मोक्षरूपी पूर्ण फल लगानेवाले हैं ऐसे भरत महाराजने शरद् ऋतुके मेघके समान समस्त देशोंमें विहार किया ॥३९७॥ चिरकाल तक विहार कर जिन्होंने शिक्षा देने योग्य जनसमूहका बहत भारी कल्याण किया है ऐसे भरत महाराजने अपनी आयुकी अन्तर्मुहूर्त प्रमाण स्थिति बाकी रहनेपर योगनिरोध किया और औदारिक, तैजस तथा कार्माण इन तीन शरीररूप बन्धनोंके नष्ट होनेपर सम्यक्त्व आदि सारभूत गुण ही जिनकी मूर्ति रह गयी है, जो प्रकाशमान हैं, जगत्त्रयके चूड़ामणि हैं और सुखके भाण्डार हैं ऐसे वह भरतेश्वर आत्मधाममें स्थित हो गये अर्थात् मोक्षको प्राप्त हो गये ॥३९८॥ जो समस्त जीवोंके विषयमें शान्तचित्त हैं, उत्तम सुखको प्राप्त हैं, यम शील आदि गुणोंसे पूर्ण हैं, गुणवान् हैं और गण अर्थात् मुनिसमूहके इन्द्र हैं ऐसे वृषभसेन आदि मुख्य मुनिराज भी कालक्रमसे अपरिमित निर्वाणधामको प्राप्त हुए ॥३९६॥ जिन्होंने नेताकी तरह चार आराधनारूप चार प्रकारकी सेनाको साथ लेकर पापरूपी विशाल शत्रको नष्ट किया था, जिन्होंने सुवर्ण पाषाणके समान अपना देदीप्यमान स्वरूप प्राप्त किया है, भ्रमरोंके समान सब देवलोग जिनके कमलविजयी चरणोंकी सेवा करते हैं और जो तीन लोकके गुरु हैं ऐसे श्री भगवान् वृषभदेवकी सेवा करनेवाले तुम सबको वे ही कल्याण प्रदान करनेवाले हों ॥४००॥ जो कुलकरोंमें पन्द्रहवें कुलकर थे, तीर्थंकरोंमें प्रथम तीर्थ कर थे, जिन्होंने मनुष्योंकी जीविका १ परिवेष्टितयतिमुख्यः । २ भव्यजनसमूहस्योपकारि। ३ मुहर्तपरिसमास्थितौ सत्याम् । ४ सख्यं ल०। ५ सेनापतिरिव । ६ चतुर्विधाराधनसाधनः । ७ आ समन्ताद् भास्वरम् । ८ जीवितकल्पः । ९ आवरणविमुक्तः । १० उत्पन्नवान् । ११ भरतस्य ।

**Malini**
The swan, known as the Adipurana, showers down the rain of Dharma. He is pure, with a lofty nature, and resides in the sky. He produces the supreme fruit of liberation in the field of living beings. He roams all the lands like the autumn clouds. ||39||

**Pṛthvī**
Having roamed for a long time, benefiting the worthy, the great king Bharat, with only a moment of his lifespan remaining, performed the act of Yoga Nirodha. His body, composed of the three elements, was destroyed, leaving only the essence of his virtues, the embodiment of Samyaktva. He, the jewel of the three worlds, the treasure of happiness, attained liberation and resided in his own abode. ||318||

**Vasantatilaka**
All of them, including Vṛṣabha, the chief of the great sages, attained supreme happiness, with peaceful minds, in all living beings. In due course of time, these virtuous ones, the lords of the Jains, attained the infinite abode of liberation, being filled with the virtues of Yama. ||399||

**Śārdūlavikrīḍita**
He, who, like a leader, destroyed the great enemy of evil with his fourfold army of virtues, attained his own radiant form, pure like a golden stone. The gods, like bees, serve his lotus-like feet. He is the teacher of the three worlds. May he bestow blessings upon all those who take refuge in him. ||10||

**Śārdūlavikrīḍita**
He was the fifteenth of the lineage of the great ones, the first of the Tirthankaras. He showed the path of liberation from the cycle of birth and death, a great path, to human beings. His knowledge, free from all obstacles, is the ultimate refuge for all. He is the glorious one, the father of all kings of the earth. May he bestow blessings upon us. ||10||
