लोलुपो नकुलार्योsस्मादेतस्मात्समनोरथः । ततोऽपि शान्तमदनस्ततः सामानिकामरः ॥ ३७६ ॥ राजाऽपराजितस्तस्मादहमिन्द्रस्ततोऽजनि । ततो ममानुजो जातो जयसेनोऽयमूर्जितः ॥ ३७७॥ शार्दूलविक्रीडितम् इत्यस्मिन्भव संकटे भवभृतः
स्वेष्टेरनिष्टैस्तथा
संयोगः सहसा वियोगचरमः सर्वस्य नन्वीदृशम् । त्वं जानन्नपि किं विषण्णहृदयो विश्लिष्टकर्माष्टको
निर्वाणं भगवानवापदतुलं तोषे विषादः कुतः ॥ ३७८ ॥ मालिनी

वयमपि चरमाङ्गाः संगमाच्छुद्धबुद्धः
सकलमलविलोपपादितात्मस्वरूपा ।
निरुपम सुखसारं चक्रवत्तिस्तदीयं

पदमचिरतरेण प्राप्नमोऽ नाप्यमन्यैः ॥ ३७६ ॥ हरिणी
भवतु सुहृदां मृत्यौ शोकः शुभाशुभकर्मभिः
भवति हि स चेत्तेषामस्मिन्पुनर्जननावहः । विनिहतभवे प्रार्थ्य तस्मिन् स्वयं समुपागते
कथमयमहो धीमान् कुर्याच्छुचं यदि नो रिपुः ॥ ३८० ॥ वसन्ततिलका
अष्टापि दुष्टरिपवोऽस्य समूलतूल
नष्टा गुणैर्गुरुभिरष्टमिरेष जुष्टः ।
किं नष्टमत्र निधिनाथ जहीहि मोहं
'सन्धेहि शोकविजयाय धियं विशुद्धाम् ॥ ३८१ ॥
जयन्त हुआ, फिर अहमिन्द्र हुआ और अब वहाँसे पृथिवीपर आकर गुणसेन नामका गणधर हुआ है ।। ३७४-- ३७५ || जयसेनका जीव पहले लोलुप नामका हलवाई था, फिर नेवला हुआ, उसके बाद भोगभूमिका आर्य हुआ, फिर मनोरथ नामका देव हुआ, उसके पश्चात् राजा शान्तमदन हुआ, फिर सामानिक देव हुआ, तदनन्तर राजा अपराजित हुआ, फिर अहमिन्द्र हुआ और अब मेरा छोटा भाई अतिशय बलवान् जयसेन हुआ है ।। ३७६-३७७॥ श्री वृषभसेन गणधर चक्रवर्ती भरतसे कह रहे हैं कि इस संसाररूपी संकटमें इसी प्रकार सब प्राणियों को इष्ट-अनिष्ट वस्तुओं का संगम होता है और अन्त में अकस्मात् ही उसका नाश हो जाता है, तू यह सब जानता हुआ भी इतना खिन्नहृदय क्यों हो रहा है ? भगवान् वृषभदेव तो आठों कर्मों को नष्ट कर अनुपम मोक्षस्थानको प्राप्त हुए हैं फिर भला ऐसे सन्तोषके स्थान में विषाद क्यों करता है ? || ३७८ ॥ हे चक्रवर्तिन् हम सब लोग भी चरमशरीरी हैं, शुद्ध बुद्धिको धारण करनेवाले भगवान् के समागमसे सम्पूर्ण कर्ममलको नष्ट कर आत्मस्वरूपको प्राप्त हुए हैं और अनुपम सुखसे श्रेष्ठ तथा अन्य मिथ्यादृष्टियों के दुर्लभ उन्हीं भगवान्के पदको हम लोग भी बहुत शीघ्र प्राप्त करेंगे || ३७९ ।। इष्ट मित्रोंकी मृत्यु होनेपर शोक हो सकता है क्योंकि उनकी वह मृत्यु शुभ अशुभ कर्मोंसे होती है और फिर भी इस संसारमें उनका जन्म करानेवाली होती है, परन्तु जिसने संसारका नाश कर दिया है और निरन्तर जिसकी प्रार्थना की जाती है ऐसा सिद्ध पद यदि स्वयं प्राप्त हो जावे तो इस बुद्धिमान् मनुष्यको यदि वह शत्रु नहीं है तो शोक कैसे करना चाहिए ? भावार्थ- हर्ष के स्थान में शत्रुको ही शोक होता है, मित्रको नहीं होता इसलिए तुम सबको आनन्द मानना चाहिए न कि शोक करना चाहिए ॥ ३८० ॥ हे निधिपते, भगवान् वृषभदेवके आठों ही दुष्ट शत्रु जड़ और शाखासहित बिलकुल
१ वृषभसेनभरतादय । २ पुरोः सम्बन्धि ३ अप्रापणीयम् । ४ मृत्युः । ५ संसारे । ६ मृत्यो । ७ कारण - सहितम् । ८ सेवितः । ९ सम्यग् धारय ।

**Verse 378:**
O Bharata, in this world, which is like a crisis, all beings experience a combination of pleasant and unpleasant things, and ultimately, they are destroyed suddenly. Knowing this, why are you so disheartened? The Lord Vrishabhadeva has attained the incomparable state of liberation by destroying all eight karmas. Why are you feeling sad in such a place of contentment?

**Verse 379:**
O Chakravartin, we are all mortal beings. By the association of the pure-minded Lord, we have destroyed all our karmic impurities and attained our true nature. We will also soon attain the incomparable and rare state of the Lord, which is superior to all other pleasures.

**Verse 380:**
When a dear friend dies, there may be grief because their death is caused by good and bad karmas, and it leads to their rebirth in this world. But if a Siddha, who has destroyed the world and is constantly prayed to, is attained, then how can a wise person grieve if he is not an enemy? Meaning: It is the enemy who grieves, not the friend, so you should all rejoice, not grieve.

**Verse 381:**
O Lord of wealth, all eight evil enemies of Lord Vrishabhadeva, with their roots and branches, have been completely destroyed by his virtues. What is lost here? Abandon your delusion. Focus your pure mind on conquering sorrow.
