प्राभातानककोटीनां निःस्वनः सेनयोः समम् । आक्रामति स्म दिक्चक्रमक्रमेणोच्चरस्तदा ॥ ३१२॥ प्रतीच्याsपि युतश्चन्द्रो मयैवोदेति भास्करः । इति स्नेहादिव प्राची प्रागभादुदयाद्रवेः ॥ ३५३॥ सरस कमल|क्षिभ्यः प्रबुद्धानां तदा मुदा । निर्ययौ स्वार्थमादाय निदेव भ्रमरावली ॥ ३१४ ॥ गतायां स्वेन सङ्कोचं पद्मिन्यां स्वोदये रविः । लक्ष्मीं निजकरेणोचैर्विदधे सा हि मित्रता ॥३१५॥ रक्तः करैः समाश्लिष्य संध्यां सद्यो व्यरज्यत । वदन्निव रविर्भोगान् पर्यन्तं विरसान् स्फुटम् ॥ ३१६ ॥ पीत पुरंवैतां स्वां संध्यामिति वेयया । रविं 'रक्तमपि स्थित्यै प्राच्यक्षमत"न क्षणम् ॥३१७॥ 'शयित्वा वीरशय्यायां निशां नीत्वा नियामिनः । स्नात्वा संतर्पिताशेषदीनानाथवनीपकाः ॥ ३१८ ॥ fear विधिना स्तुत्वा जिनेन्द्रां त्रिजगन्नतान् ।' 'अतिष्टनायकाः सर्वे परिच्छिद्य रणोन्मुखाः ॥३१९॥ अरिञ्जयाख्यमारुह्य रथं श्वेताश्वयोजितम् । गृहीत्वा वज्रकाण्डं च दत्तं यच्चक्रिणा द्वयम् बन्दिमागधवृन्देन वन्द्यमानाङ्कमालिकः । गजध्वजं समुत्थाप्य जयलक्ष्मीसमुत्सुकः ॥३२१॥ जयी ज्यास्फालनं कुर्वन् कृतान्त विकृताकृतिः । द्विपानां "भीषणस्तस्थौ दिशामय्याहरन् मदम् ॥ ३२२ ॥ ९ उपोदयायशस्कीर्तिः अर्ककीर्तिश्च्युतच्छविः । कारागारमिवाध्यास्य स्यन्दनं मन्दवाजिनम् ॥ ३२३॥

उसी समय दोनों सेनाओं में साथ-साथ उठनेवाले प्रातः कालीन करोड़ों बाजोंके शब्दोंने एक साथ सब दिशाएँ भर दीं ।। ३१२ ।। यद्यपि चन्द्रमा पश्चिम दिशा के साथ है तथापि सूर्य तो मेरे ही साथ उदय होगा इसी प्रेमसे मानो पूर्व दिशा सूर्योदय से पहले ही सुशोभित होने लगी थी ||३१३।। उस समय भ्रमरोंकी पंक्ति तालाबोंके फूले हुए ( पक्ष में जागे हुए ) कमलरूपी नेत्रोंसे अपना इष्ट पदार्थ लेकर निद्राके समान बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ निकल रही थी || ३१४॥ कमलिनी मेरे अस्त होते ही संकुचित हो गयी थी, इसलिए सूर्यने अपना उदय होते ही अपने ही किरणरूपी हाथोंसे उसपर बहुत अच्छी शोभा की थी सो ठीक ही है क्योंकि मित्रता यही कहलाती है ।। ३१५ ।। रक्त अर्थात् लाल ( पक्ष में प्रेम करनेवाला ) सूर्य, कर अर्थात् किरणों ( पक्ष में हाथों ) से सन्ध्याका आलिंगन कर शीघ्र ही विरक्त अर्थात् लालिमारहित ( पक्षमें रागहीन) हो गया था सो मानो वह यही कह रहा था कि ये भोग अन्त समयमें नीरस होते हैं।। ३१६॥ इस सूर्यने पहले के समान ही अपनी सन्ध्यारूपी स्त्रीका आलिंगन किया है इस ईर्ष्यासे ही मानो पूर्व दिशाने सूर्यको प्रेमपूर्ण अथवा लाल वर्णं होनेपर भी अपने पास क्षण-भर भी नहीं ठहरने दिया था ||३१७ ।। व्रत - नियम पालन करनेवाले सेनापतियोंने वीरशय्यापर शयन कर रात्रि व्यतीत की । सवेरे स्नान कर सब दीन, अनाथ तथा याचकोंको सन्तुष्ट किया, त्रिजगद्वन्द्य जिनेन्द्र देवकी विधिपूर्वक पूजा कर स्तुति की और फिर वे अपनी-अपनी सेनाका विभाग कर युद्धके लिए उत्सुक हो खड़े हो गये ।। ३१८ - ३१६ ॥ बन्दीजन और मागध लोगों का समूह जिसके नामके अक्षरोंकी स्तुति करते हैं जो विजयलक्ष्मी के लिए उत्सुक हो रहा है, जिसका आकार यमराजके समान विकृत है, जो दिग्गजोंके भी मदको हरण करनेवाला है और भयंकर है ऐसा जयकुमार सफेद घोड़ों से जुते हुए अरिंजय नामके रथपर सवार होकर और वज्रकाण्ड नामका वह धनुष जो कि पहले चक्रवर्तीने दिया था, लेकर हाथीकी ध्वजाको उड़ाता तथा धनुषकी फालन करता हुआ खड़ा हो गया || ३२० - ३२२ || जिसकी अपकीर्तिका उदय
