पर्यन्तेऽस्य' वनोदेशा विकासि कुसमस्मिताः। हसन्तीवामरोद्यानश्रियमात्मीयया श्रिया ॥११९॥
स्वेन मूर्ना बिभत्येष श्रियं नित्यानपायिनीम् ।।
स्मार्ताः स्मरन्ति यां शच्याः सौभाग्यमदकर्षिणीम् ॥१२०॥ मुनि पद्महदोऽस्यास्ति तश्री बहुवर्णनः । प्रसन्नवारिरुत्फुल्लहैमपङ्कजमण्डनः ॥१२१॥ हृदस्यास्य पुरःप्रत्यक्तोरण द्वारनिर्गते । गङ्गासिन्धू महानद्यौ धत्तेऽयं धरणीधरः ॥१२२॥ सरितं रोहितास्यां च दधात्येष शिलोच्चयः । तदु दक्तोरण द्वारान्निःसृत्योदारवीं गताम् ॥ १२३॥ महापगाभिरित्याभिरलङ्घयाभिर्विभात्ययम् । तिसृभिः शक्तिभिः स्वं वा भूभृद्भाव विभावयन् ॥१२४॥ शिखररेष कुत्कीलः कीलयन्निव खाङ्गणम् । सिद्धाध्वानं रुणद्वीद्धैः पराध्यै रुद्धदिङ्मुखैः ॥१२५॥ 'परशतमिहादीन्द्रे सन्त्यावासाः सुधाशिनाम् । येऽनल्पां कल्पजां लक्ष्मी हसन्तीव स्वसंपदा ॥१२६॥ इत्यनेकगुणेऽप्यस्मिन् दोषोऽस्त्यको महान् गिरौ । यत् पर्यन्तगतान्धत्ते गुरुरप्यगुरुद्रुमान् ॥१२७॥
अलङ्घयमहिमोदनो गरिमाक्रान्तविष्टयः । जगद्गुरोः ''पुरोराभामयं धत्ते धराधरः ॥१२८॥ है ।। ११८ ॥ जो फूले हुए फूलरूपी हास्यसे सहित हैं ऐसे इसके किनारेके वनके प्रदेश ऐसे जान पड़ते हैं मानो अपनी शोभासे देवोंके बगीचेकी शोभाकी हँसी ही कर रहे हों ।। ११९ ।। यह पर्वत अपने मस्तक ( शिखर ) से उस शोभाको धारण करता है, जो कि, सदा नाशरहि है और स्मृतिके जानकार पण्डित लोग जिसे इन्द्राणीके सौभाग्यका अहंकार दूर करनेवाली कहते हैं ॥१२०।। इसके मस्तकपर पद्म नामका वह सरोवर है जिसमें कि श्री देवीका निवास है, शास्त्रकारोंने जिसका बहुत कुछ वर्णन किया है, जिसमें स्वच्छ जल भरा हुआ है, और जो फूले हुए सुवर्ण कमलोंसे सुशोभित है ॥१२१।। यह पर्वत क्रमसे इस पद्मसरोवरके पूर्व तथा पश्चिम तोरणसे निकली हुई गंगा और सिन्धुनामकी महानदियोंको धारण करता है ॥१२२॥ तथा पद्म सरोवरके उत्तर तोरणद्वारसे निकलकर उत्तरकी ओर गयी हुई. रोहितास्या नदीको भी यह पर्वत धारण करता है ।।१२३।। यह पर्वत इन अलंध्य तीन महानदियोंसे ऐसा सुशोभित होता है मानो उत्साह, मन्त्र और प्रभुत्व इन तीन शक्तियोंसे अपना भूभृद्भाव अर्थात् राजापना ( पक्षमें पर्वतपंना ) ही प्रकट कर रहा हो ॥१२४॥ देदीप्यमान तथा दिशाओंको व्याप्त करनेवाले अपने अनेक शिखरोंसे यह पर्वत ऐसा जान पड़ता है मानो आकाशरूपी आँगनको कीलोंसे युक्त कर देवोंका मार्ग ही रोक रहा हो ॥१२५।। इस पर्वतराजपर देवोंके अनेक आवास हैं जो कि अपनी शोभासे स्वर्गकी बहुत भारी शोभाकी भी हँसी करते हैं ।।१२६।। इस प्रकार इस पर्वत में अनेक गुण होनेपर भी एक बड़ा भारी दोष है और वह यह कि यह स्वयं गुरु अर्थात् बड़ा होकर भी अपने चारों ओर लगे हुए अगुरु द्रुम अर्थात् छोटे-छोटे वृक्षोंको धारण करता है ( परिहार पक्षमें अगुरु द्रुमका अर्थ अगुरु चन्दनके वृक्ष लेना चाहिए ) ॥१२७।। यह पर्वत जगद्गुरु भगवान् वृषभदेवकी सदृशता धारण करता है क्योंकि जिस प्रकार भगवान् वृषभदेव अपनी अलंघ्य महिमासे उदग्र अर्थात् उत्कृष्ट हैं उसी प्रकार यह पर्वत भी अपनी अलंघ्य महिमासे उदग्र अर्थात् ऊँचा है और जिस प्रकार भगवान् वृषभदेवने अपनी गरिमा अर्थात् गरुपनेसे समस्त विश्वको व्याप्त कर लिया है उसी प्रकार इस पर्वतने भी अपनी गरिमा अर्थात् भारीपनसे समस्त विश्वको व्याप्त कर लिया है । भावार्थ - जिस प्रकार भगवान् वृषभदेवका गुरुपना समस्त लोकमें प्रसिद्ध है उसी प्रकार इस पर्वतका भारीपना भी लोकमें प्रसिद्ध १ पर्यन्तस्य ल०। २ स्मृतिदिनः । ३ धृता श्रीः (देवी) येन स । ४ पूर्वपश्चिमदिवस्थतोरण । ५ तत्पग्रसरोवरस्थोत्तरदिक्स्थतोरण। ६ उत्तरदिङ्मुखीम् । ७ देवभेदमार्गम् । ८ अपरिमिताः। 'परा संख्या शताधिकात् । ९ स्वर्गजाम् । १० कालागुरुतरून्, लघुतरूनिति ध्वनिः । ११ उपमाम् ।

The forest regions on its edges, adorned with blooming flowers, seem to be laughing, as if they were the laughter of the gardens of the gods, with their own beauty. ||119||
This mountain bears on its head (peak) the beauty that is eternal and imperishable, which the wise remember as the pride of Indraani, the one that removes arrogance. ||120||
On its peak, there is a lake called Padma, where the goddess Shri resides, whose glory has been described extensively by the scriptures, filled with clear water, and adorned with blooming golden lotuses. ||121||
This mountain bears the great rivers Ganga and Sindhu, which flow out from the eastern and western gates of this Padma lake. ||122||
And it also bears the river Rohitasya, which flows out from the northern gate of the Padma lake, towards the north. ||123||
This mountain is adorned with these three uncrossable great rivers, as if it were displaying its own nature as a king of the earth, with the three powers of enthusiasm, mantra, and dominion. ||124||
With its shining peaks, which encompass the directions, this mountain seems to be nailing the sky-like courtyard, as if it were blocking the path of the Siddhas. ||125||
On this mountain king, there are many abodes of the gods, which, with their beauty, even make the great beauty of heaven laugh. ||126||
Even though this mountain has many virtues, it has one great flaw, and that is that, being great itself, it bears on its sides smaller trees, which are not great. ||127||
This mountain bears the resemblance of the world-teacher, Lord Rishabhadeva, because just as Lord Rishabhadeva is exalted by his uncrossable glory, so too is this mountain exalted by its uncrossable glory. And just as Lord Rishabhadeva has encompassed the entire world with his greatness, so too has this mountain encompassed the entire world with its heaviness. ||128||
Meaning: Just as the greatness of Lord Rishabhadeva is famous throughout the world, so too is the heaviness of this mountain famous throughout the world.
