आदिपुराण वयसः परिणामेन धियः प्रायेण मन्दिमा। कृतात्मनां वयस्याये ननु मेधा विवर्धते॥१८॥११॥ नवं वयो न दोषाय न गुणाय दशान्तरम् । नवोपोन्दुर्जनालादी बहत्यग्निर्जरन्नपि ॥१८॥१२०॥ अपृष्टः कार्यमाचष्टे यः स धृष्टतरो मतः ॥१८॥१२१॥ नामष्टभाषिणी जिहा चेष्टां नानिष्टकारिणी। नान्योपघातपरुषा स्मृतिः स्वप्नेऽपि धीमताम् ॥१८॥१२३॥ आमपाने यया क्षिप्तं मझु क्षीरादि नश्यति । अपात्रेऽपि तथा दत्तं तद्धि स्वं तच्च नाशयेत् ॥२०॥१४३॥ नहि लोहमयं यानपानमुत्तारयेत्परम् । तथा कर्मभराक्रान्तो दोषवान्नैव तारकः ॥२०॥१४॥ संकल्पवशगो मूढो वस्त्विष्टानिष्टतां नयेत् । रागद्वेषौ ततस्ताभ्यां बन्धं दुर्मोचमश्नुते ॥२१॥२४॥ न तत्सुखं परतव्यसंबन्धादुपजायते। नित्यमव्ययमक्षय्यमात्मोत्थं हि परं शिवम् ॥२१॥२०॥ सत्येव दर्शने ज्ञानं चारित्रं च फलप्रवम् । ज्ञानं च दृष्टिसच्चर्यासान्निध्ये मुक्तिकारणम् ॥२४॥१२१॥ चारित्रं दर्शनज्ञानविकलं नार्थकृन्मतम् । प्रपातायव तद्धि स्यादन्धस्येव विवल्गितम् ॥२४॥१२२॥

True knowledge, conduct, and the fruits of conduct are all based on truth. Knowledge, obtained through seeing, hearing, and association with the wise, is the cause of liberation. ||24||121||

Conduct that is devoid of knowledge and true vision is useless. It is like a blind man wandering aimlessly, leading to a fall. ||24||122||
