एकोनविंशं पर्व
૨૩ वज्रार्गलं च वज्राव्यं विभातीतः पुरद्वयम् । वज्राकरः समीपस्थैः समुन्मीषदिवान्त्रहम् ॥४२॥ इदं पुरं विमोचाख्यं पुरमेतत् पुरं जयम् । एताभ्यां निर्जितं नूनमधोऽगात् फणिनां जगत् ॥४३॥ शकटादिमुखी चैव पुरी भाति चतुर्मुखी । चतुमिगोपुरैस्तुङ्गलधयन्तीव खङ्गणम् ॥४४॥ बहुमुख्यरजस्का च विरजस्का च नामतः । नगर्यो भुवनस्येव त्रयस्य मिलिताः श्रियः ॥४५॥ रथनूपुरपूर्व च चक्रवालाह्वयं पुरम् । उक्तानां वक्ष्यमाणानां पुरां च तिलकायते ॥४६॥ राजधानीयमेतस्यां विद्याभृच्चक्रवर्तिनः । निवसन्ति परां लक्ष्मी भुभानाः सुकृतोदयात् ॥४७॥ मेखलाग्रपुरं रम्यमितः क्षेमपुरी पुरी। अपराजितमेतत् स्यात् कामपुष्पमितः पुरम् ॥४८॥ गगनादिचरीयं सा विनेयादिचरी पुरी। परं शुक्र पुरं चैतत् त्रिंशत्संख्यानपूरणम् ॥४९॥ संजयन्ती जयन्ती च विजया बैजयन्स्यपि । क्षेमंकरं च चन्द्राभं सूर्यामं चातिमास्वरम् ॥५०॥ रतिचित्रमहद्धमनिमेघोपपदानि वै । कटानि स्यविचित्रादि कटं वैश्रवणादि च ॥५१॥ सूर्यचन्द्रपुरे चाम् नित्योद्योतिन्यनुक्रमात् । विमुखी नित्यवाहिन्यौ सुमुखी चैव पश्चिमा ॥५२॥
नगर्यो दक्षिणश्रेण्यां पञ्चाशत्सङ्ख्यया मिताः । प्राकारगोपुरोत्तुङ्गाः "खातामिस्तिसृमिवृताः ॥५३॥ शत्रुओंको जीतकर हँस ही रहा हो ॥४१॥ इस ओर ये १३ पत्रार्गल और १४ वज्रान्य नामके दो नगर सुशोभित हो रहे हैं जो कि अपने समीपवर्ती हीरेकी खानोंसे ऐसे मालूम होते हैं मानो प्रतिदिन बढ़ ही रहे हों ।।४२।। इधर यह १५ विमोच नामका नगर है और इधर यह १६ पुरञ्जय नामका नगर है । ये दोनों ही नगर ऐसे सुशोभित हो रहे हैं मानो भवनवासी देवोंका लोक इनसे पराजित होकर ही नीचे चला गया हो ॥४॥ इधर यह १७ शकटमुखी नगरी है और इधर यह १८ चतुर्मुखी नगरी सुशोभित हो रही है। यह चतुर्मुखी नगरी अपने ऊँचे-ऊँचे चारों गोपुरोंसे ऐसी मालूम होती है मानो आकाशरूपी आँगनका उल्लंघन ही कर रही हो ॥४४॥ यह १९ बहुमुखी, यह २० अरजस्का और यह २१ विरजस्का नामकी नगरी है। ये तीनों ही नगरियाँ ऐसी मालूम होती हैं मानो तीनों लोकोंकी लक्ष्मी ही एक जगह आ मिली हों ॥४५॥ जो ऊपर कहे हुए और आगे कहे जानेवाले नगरों में तिलकके समान आचरण करता है ऐसा यह २२ रथनूपुरचक्रवाल नामका नगर है ॥४६।। यह नगर इस श्रेणीकी राजधानी है, विद्याधरोंके चक्रवर्ती (राजा) अपने पुण्योदयसे प्राप्त हुई उत्कृष्ट लक्ष्मीका उपभोग करते हुए इसमें निवास करते हैं ॥४७॥ इधर यह मनोहर २३ मेखलाग्र नगर है, यह २४ क्षेमपुरी नगरी है, यह २५ अपराजित नगर है और इधर यह २६ कामपुष्प नामका नगर है।॥४८॥ यह २७ गगनचरी नगरी है, यह २८ विनयचरी नगरी है और यह २९ चक्रपुर नामका नगर है। यह ३० संख्याको पूर्ण करनेवाली ३० संजयन्ती नगरी है, यह ३१ जयन्ती, यह ३२ विजया और यह ३३ वैजयन्तीपुरी है। यह ३४ क्षेमकर, यह ३५ चन्द्राभ और यह अतिशय देदीप्यमान ३६ सूर्याभ नामका नगर है॥४२-५०॥ यह ३७ रतिकूट, यह ३८ चित्रकूट, यह ३९ महाकुट, यह ४० हेमकूट, यह ४१ मेघकूट, यह ४२ विचित्रकूट और यह ४३ वैश्रवणकूट नामका नगर है ।।५१।। ये अनुक्रमसे ४४ सूर्यपुर, ४५ चन्द्रपुर और ४६ नित्योद्योतिनी नामके नगर हैं। यह ४७ विमुखी, यह ४८ नित्यवाहिनी, यह ४९ सुमुखी और यह ५० पश्चिमा नामकी नगरी है ॥५२।। इस प्रकार दक्षिण-श्रेणीमें ५० नगरियाँ हैं, इन नगरियोंके कोट और गोपुर (मुख्य दरवाजे) बहुत ऊँचे हैं तथा प्रत्येक, नगरी तीन-तीन
