पञ्चदशं पर्व
३३५ तारका गगनाम्भोधौ मुक्ताफलनिमश्रियः । 'अरुणौनिलेनेमा विलीयन्ते गतस्विषः ॥१०९॥ सरितां सैकतादेव चक्रवाको रुवन् रुवन् । अन्विच्छति निजां कान्तां निशाविरहविक्लवः ॥१०॥ अयं हंसयुवा हंस्या सुषुप्सति समं सति । मृणालशकलेनाङ्गं कण्डूयश्चम्चुलम्बिना ॥११॥ अब्जिनीयमितो धत्ते विकसत्पङ्कजाननम् । इतश्च म्लानिमासाय नम्रास्येयं कुमुदती ॥११२॥ सरसां पुलिनेष्वेताः कुरर्यः कुर्वते रुतम् । युष्मन्नपुरसंवादि तारं मधुरमेव च ॥११३॥ स्वनीडादुत्पतन्यच कृतकोलाहलस्वनाः । प्रमातमङ्गलानीव पठन्तोऽमी शकुन्तयः ॥११४॥ अप्राप्तस्त्रैणसंस्कारा परिक्षीणदशा इमे । कान्चुकीयः समं दीपा यान्ति कालेन मन्दताम् ॥११५॥ इतो निजगृहे देवि स्वन्मालविधित्सया'। कुम्जवामनिकाप्रायः परिवारःप्रतीच्छति ॥१६॥ विमुञ शयनं तस्मात् नदीपुलिनसंनिमम् । हंसीव राजहंसस्य वल्लभा मानसाश्रया ॥११॥ इस्युच्चैर्वन्दिवृन्देषु पठत्सु समयोचितम् । प्राबोधिकानकध्वानैः सा विनिद्रामवच्छनैः ॥११८॥ विमुक्तायना चैषा कृतमङ्गलमज्जना । प्रष्टुकामा स्वदृष्टानां स्वप्नानां तत्त्वतः फलम् ॥११९॥
ये संसारकी विचित्रताका उपदेश देनेके लिए ही उद्यत हुए हों ॥१०८।। हे देवि, आकाशरूपी समुद्रमें मोतियोंके समान शोभायमान रहनेवाले ये तारे सूर्यरूपी बड़वानलके द्वारा कान्तिरहित होकर विलीन होते जा रहे हैं ।।१०९।। रात-भर विरहसे व्याकुल हुआ यह चकवा नदीके बालूके टीलेपर स्थित होकर रोता-रोता ही अपनी प्यारी स्त्री चकवीको ढूँढ़ रहा है ।।११०॥ हे सति, इधर यह जवान हंस चोंच में दबाये हुए मृणाल-सपरसे शरीरको खुजलाता हुआ हंसीके साथ शयन करना चाहता है ॥११॥ हे देवि, इधर यह कमलिनी अपने विकसित कमलरूपी मुखको धारण कर रही है और इधर यह कुमुदिनी मुरझाकर नम्रमुख हो रही है अर्थात् मुरझाये हुए कुमुदको नीचा कर रही है ॥११२।। इधर तालाबके किनारोपर ये कुरर पक्षियोंकी सियाँ तुम्हारे नूपुरके समान उच्च और मधुर शब्द कर रही हैं ॥११३।। इस समय ये पक्षी कोलाहल करते हुए अपने-अपने घोंसलोंसे उड़ रहे हैं और ऐसे जान पड़ते हैं मानो प्रातःकालका मंगल-पाठ ही पढ़ रहे हों ॥११४। इधर प्रातःकालका समय पाकर ये दीपक कंचुकियों (राजाओंके अन्तःपुरमें रहनेवाले वृद्ध या नपुंसक पहरेदारों) के साथ-साथ ही मन्दताको प्राप्त हो रहे हैं क्योंकि जिस प्रकार कंचुकी स्त्रियोंके संस्कारसे रहित होते हैं उसी प्रकार दीपक भी प्रातःकाल होनेपर स्त्रियोंके द्वारा की हुई सजावटसे रहित हो रहे हैं और कंचुकी जिस प्रकार परिक्षीण दशा अर्थात् वृद्ध अवस्थाको प्राप्त होते हैं उसी प्रकार दीपक भी परिक्षीण दशा अर्थात् क्षीण बत्तीवाले हो रहे हैं ॥११५।। हे देवि, इधर तुम्हारे घरमें तुम्हारा मंगल करनेकी इच्छासे यह कुब्जक तथा वामन आदिका परिवार तुम्हारी प्रतीक्षा कर रहा है॥११६।। इसलिए जिस प्रकार मानसरोवरपर रहनेवाली, राजहंस पक्षीकी प्रिय वल्लभा-हंसी नदीका किनारा छोड़ . देती है उसी प्रकार भगवान् वृषभदेवके मनमें रहनेवाली और उनकी प्रिय वल्लभा तू भी शय्या छोड़ ॥११७। इस प्रकार जब बन्दीजनोंके समूह जोर-जोरसे मंगल-पाठ पढ़ रहे थे तब
यशस्वती महादेवी जगानेवाले दुन्दुभियोंके शब्दोंसे धीरे-धीरे निद्रारहित हुई-जाग उठी ॥११८।। और शय्या छोड़कर प्रातःकालका मंगलस्नान कर प्रीतिसे रोमांचितशरीर हो अपने देखे हुए स्वप्नोंका यथार्थ फल पूछनेके लिए संसारके प्राणियोंके हृदयवर्ती अन्धकारको

The stars, like pearls scattered in the ocean of the sky, are being extinguished by the sun, the great fire, losing their brilliance. (109)

Oh Devi, your family, including the hunchback and the dwarf, are waiting for you at your home, eager to celebrate your auspicious arrival. (116)

Therefore, just as the beloved Cakavi of the royal swan, who resides in the Manasarovar, leaves the riverbank, so too, you, the beloved of Lord Vrishabhadeva, should leave your bed. (117)

As the group of prisoners chanted the auspicious prayers loudly, Yashawati Mahadevi, awakened by the sound of the drums, gradually overcame her sleep. (118)

Leaving her bed, she performed the auspicious morning bath, her body filled with joy, and, eager to know the true meaning of her dreams, she turned to the beings of the world, who are enveloped in the darkness of ignorance. (119)
